Beyond the Veil of Uncertainty
Part 31
As I lay there, my mind still reeling from Adrian's teasing revelation, I couldn't help but wonder exactly what he meant by "a bit above average." Was it a half inch, an inch, or perhaps even more? My curiosity was piqued, and I found myself mentally scouring the vast expanse of online forums and discussions I'd stumbled upon in the past, trying to pin down a numerical value for "average" and then extrapolating from there. Adrian, sensing my continued unease, chuckled softly and wrapped a reassuring arm around me. "Don't worry, I promise I won't bite," he whispered, his breath dancing across my skin. "But if you must know, I'm around...six and a half inches," he said, his voice low and husky. My eyes widened in surprise, and I felt my cheeks flush once more. I'd been expecting something around that range, but hearing the actual number was a different story altogether. It sounded...larger than I'd anticipated, and a thrill of excitement mixed with a dash of trepidation ran through me. Adrian, seeming to sense my unease, tightened his grip around me. "We'll take it slow, remember?" he whispered, his voice a gentle reminder of his earlier promise. "I'll make sure you're ready, that you're comfortable." As he spoke, his fingers began to trace gentle patterns on my skin, sending shivers down my spine. I closed my eyes, letting his touch wash over me, and felt my body relax into his. We lay there for a moment, the only sound the gentle hum of the air conditioner and the quiet beating of our hearts. Then, Adrian shifted, his body positioning itself above mine. "Are you ready?" he asked, his voice low and husky, his eyes burning with a fierce intensity. I nodded, my heart racing with anticipation. I knew that this was it – the moment of truth. And as Adrian's eyes locked onto mine, I felt a sense of calm wash over me. I was ready. I was ready to take this step, to see where it would lead us. With a gentle smile, Adrian began to lower himself down, his body poised above mine. And as he did, I felt the world around me melt away, leaving only the two of us, suspended in a sea of uncertainty, yet somehow, inexplicably, feeling more connected than ever before.
