"Life Underneath the Dragon's Wing"
Part 1
I snuggled deeper into the warmth of Hange's shirt, feeling the gentle hum of his chest as he breathed. I loved being close to him, it made me feel safe. My fingers gripped the soft fabric, holding on tight as he walked through the crowded hallway of our high school. I couldn't see anything, of course, thanks to the thick bandages wrapped around my eyes. The harsh fluorescent lights above us would be too much for me to handle, and I was grateful for the protection. As we walked, I heard the murmur of students chatting and the rustling of bags and books. It was a cacophony of sounds that would normally overwhelm me, but with Hange by my side, I felt calm. I loved boys, and Hange was my beloved boyfriend - the Dragon Emperor and Yakuza Prince. He was the captain of the football team, and everyone at school looked up to him. I, on the other hand, was a mess. I suffered from severe autism spectrum disorder, and my hypersensitivity to everything made everyday life a challenge. My mind was like that of a newborn baby, due to my severe age regression. It made me dependent on Hange for everything. I had no idea how I would have survived without him. My father had abandoned me when I was just a baby, and the pain of being left behind still lingered. I had severe separation anxiety, and being alone terrified me. That's why I always stayed close to Hange, often hiding underneath his shirt to block out the harsh sensory input that threatened to overwhelm me. The artificial placenta attached to my feeding tube was a constant reminder of my fragile state. I had been born prematurely, and it had left me with a lot of health issues. But Hange didn't mind any of it; he loved me for who I was, disfigured face and all. I wore a mask to cover my face, except when I was with Hange. He was one of the few people who had seen my true face, and he had promised to always protect me. As we stopped at a crossing, I heard the sound of footsteps approaching. Hange's security guards, dressed in black suits, flanked us on either side. They were a common sight for me, and I had grown accustomed to their presence. Hange was, after all, the Dragon Emperor and a popular football player, and his security detail was always on high alert. Hange shifted his backpacks, adjusting the one with his football equipment and the other with my medical supplies. He always carried them with him, making sure I was safe and had everything I needed. I felt grateful for his love and care. "Almost there, baby," he whispered, his voice soothing my frazzled nerves. "We're going to make it through the day, okay?" I nodded, my head bobbing up and down as I buried my face deeper into his shirt. I was ready to face whatever the day had in store, as long as Hange was by my side. But little did I know, today would bring its own set of challenges, and our love would be put to the test in ways we never could have imagined.
