Chapter 35: Eternal Promises
Part 35
The weight of Levi's worries slowly began to lift as he gazed into Kenzy's eyes, her words echoing in his mind like a gentle melody. He felt a sense of peace wash over him, as if the turmoil that had been brewing inside him had finally begun to subside. Kenzy's hand was still on his arm, and he could feel the warmth of her touch, a reminder of her love and commitment. As they stood there, lost in each other's eyes, the world around them seemed to fade away. The sound of the wind rustling through the trees, the chirping of birds, and the distant hum of cars driving by all blended into a gentle background noise. All that mattered was the two of them, standing there, suspended in a moment of pure connection. Levi's heart was still racing, but it was no longer with anxiety. Instead, it was filled with a sense of hope and longing. He knew that he had to be honest with Kenzy, to tell her everything that was on his mind. He took a deep breath, and his words tumbled out in a rush. "Kenzy, I have to tell you something," he said, his voice filled with emotion. "I've been thinking about Jean, and I'm scared. I'm scared that I'll lose her, that she'll slip away from me, and I won't be able to save her." Kenzy's expression softened, and she took another step closer to him. "Levi, you're not alone in this," she said, her voice filled with conviction. "We're in this together, always. We'll face whatever comes our way, side by side." Levi nodded, feeling a sense of gratitude wash over him. He knew that he could always count on Kenzy, that she would be there for him no matter what. He looked into her eyes, and he saw the truth there, the promise of her love and commitment. As they stood there, lost in each other's eyes, Levi felt a sense of clarity wash over him. He knew what he had to do, what he had to say. He took a deep breath, and his words tumbled out in a rush. "Kenzy, I want to spend the rest of my life with you," he said, his voice filled with emotion. "I want to wake up every morning with you by my side, to explore the world with you, to build a life with you. I want to grow old with you, to laugh with you, to cry with you. I want to spend eternity with you." Kenzy's eyes sparkled with tears, and she smiled, a soft, gentle smile. "I want that too, Levi," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I want to spend the rest of my life with you, to love you, to cherish you, to be with you always." As they stood there, lost in each other's eyes, Levi knew that he had found his forever. He had found the one person who made him whole, who made him feel alive. And he knew that he would do anything to hold onto her, to keep her by his side, forever and always.
