"Morning After"

Part 6

The morning sunlight streaming through the window highlighted the peaceful scene before her, but Maya's tranquility was short-lived. As she lazily opened her eyes, she was met with the sight of Sean's head nestled between her thighs, his mouth still busy with the task of bringing her pleasure. She couldn't help but let out a soft moan as his tongue danced across her skin, sending shivers down her spine. Just as she was about to drift off into a state of pure bliss, a sudden knock at the door broke the silence. Sean's head jerked up, his eyes wide with alarm as he froze, his mouth still on Maya. The sound of footsteps outside the room grew louder, and Maya's eyes widened in horror as she realized they weren't alone. The door creaked open, and a voice called out, "Sean, I'm here to drop off Maddy for the day. I hope I'm not interrupting anything." Maya's heart sank as she recognized the voice - it was Alex, Sean's ex-girlfriend. Sean quickly scrambled off the bed, his face reddening with embarrassment as he frantically tried to adjust his clothes. Maya, still lying in bed, felt a wave of mortification wash over her. She quickly pulled the sheets up to her chest, trying to cover herself. As Alex entered the room, her eyes widened in shock as she took in the scene before her. Maya's face burned with embarrassment as she locked eyes with Sean's ex. Alex's gaze flicked between Maya and Sean, a look of surprise and disgust crossing her face. "Maddy, sweetie, come here for a minute," Alex called out, her voice tight with tension. A small voice piped up from outside the room, "Okay, Mommy." The sound of little footsteps approached, and a small blonde girl with big brown eyes peeked into the room. Her eyes widened as she took in the scene, and she looked up at her mother with a questioning expression. Alex's eyes flashed with anger as she turned to Sean. "You're really something else, Sean. I drop off my daughter, and this is what I find? You're still carrying on with...with...whoever this is?" Her voice dripped with disdain as she gestured towards Maya. Sean took a step forward, his face set in a determined expression. "Alex, this isn't what it looks like. Maya and I...we're together. And I want you to respect that." Maya felt a surge of gratitude towards Sean, but it was short-lived. Alex's expression turned icy, and she spat out, "You're going to regret this, Sean. You're going to regret ever crossing me." With that, she turned on her heel and stormed out of the room, Maddy's small hand clutched in hers. The room fell silent, the only sound the heavy breathing of the three people left in the room. Sean's eyes met Maya's, and he took a step forward, his face etched with concern. "Are you okay?" he asked, his voice soft. Maya nodded, still trying to process the sudden interruption. Sean wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close as he whispered words of comfort in her ear. But as they stood there, Maya couldn't shake the feeling that their peaceful world had just been shattered.
