"Into the Night"

Part 7

As they reached Jamie's car, Jon's grip on her loosened, and he opened the door for her. "Let's get out of here," he said, his eyes scanning the darkness. Jamie nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. She was still reeling from the kiss they shared, and the tension that had built up with Mark's departure. They drove back to Jon's hotel in silence, the only sound being the hum of the engine and the occasional passing car. As they stepped into the hotel room, Jon's eyes locked onto hers, and Jamie felt a spark of electricity run through her body. Without a word, Jon pulled her into his arms, his lips meeting hers in a fierce kiss. Jamie felt herself melting into him, her body responding to his touch. They made love with a intensity that left her breathless, their bodies entwined as they moved together. As the night wore on, they lost track of time, their bodies craving each other's touch. Jamie felt like she was drowning in a sea of desire, with Jon as her lifeline. She couldn't get enough of him, and she knew that she wanted more. At some point, Jamie's phone rang, but she didn't hear it, her ringer turned off. Jon, however, saw the screen light up and answered the call. "Hello?" Jon's voice was low and husky, and Jamie could hear the sound of Mark's voice on the other end. She froze, her eyes locked onto Jon's as she realized who was on the phone. "I think you've got the wrong number," Jon said, his eyes never leaving Jamie's face. Jamie felt a flush rise to her cheeks as she heard Mark's angry voice on the other end of the line. "Jamie, is that you?" Mark's voice was laced with hurt and anger. Jon's grip on Jamie tightened, his eyes flashing with possessiveness. "No, you've got the wrong number," he repeated, his voice firm. Jamie felt a pang of guilt, but Jon's body was wrapped around hers, holding her close. She couldn't move, couldn't escape. All she could do was listen as Mark's voice grew louder, more insistent. And then, just as suddenly as it had started, the call ended. Jon's eyes locked onto Jamie's, his gaze burning with intensity. "You're mine now," he whispered, his lips brushing against her ear. Jamie felt a shiver run down her spine as she realized that she was in over her head. She had promised Mark the truth, but as she looked into Jon's eyes, she wasn't sure if she could keep that promise.
