"Sudden Shift in Allegiance"
Part 56
I woke up with a start, my heart racing as I took in my surroundings. But this time, I wasn't in the cozy room with Oslo. Instead, I found myself in a dimly lit chamber deep within the League of Villains' base. The cold, metallic walls and the eerie glow of the fluorescent lights above made my skin crawl. I was lying on a narrow bed, with no blankets or comfort to be found. Panic set in as I scrambled to sit up, my mind reeling with questions. How did I get here? Where was Dabi? And what was I doing in the League of Villains' base? The last thing I remembered was walking with Dabi, trying to evade The Flame of Destruction. As I looked around, I saw that the room was small and Spartan, with a single chair in the corner and a small table with a lamp on it. There was a door, but it was locked, and I could see a small camera in the corner, monitoring my every move. I felt a chill run down my spine as I realized I was a prisoner. But why? What had I done? I thought back to my conversation with Oslo, but it seemed like a dream now. Had I really been with him, or was that just a hallucination? I tried to stand up, but my legs felt weak and unsteady. I stumbled and fell back onto the bed, my heart racing with fear. What was happening to me? Why was I here? Suddenly, the door creaked open, and a figure walked in. It was Tomura Shigaraki, the leader of the League of Villains. He was smiling, but his eyes seemed to gleam with a sinister light. "Welcome," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "I'm glad you could join us. We've been expecting you." I tried to speak, but my voice caught in my throat. What did he mean? Why was I here? Tomura walked closer, his eyes glinting with amusement. "You're a curious one, aren't you?" he said. "Dabi told us all about you. He said you had potential. And I think he was right." I shook my head, trying to clear the cobwebs. What was going on? What did Dabi have to do with this? Tomura chuckled, as if he could read my thoughts. "Don't worry," he said. "Dabi will be here soon. And when he is, you'll understand everything." But I didn't want to understand. I wanted to get out of here, to escape from this place and find my way back to...to...wherever I was supposed to be. But as I looked around the cold, dark room, I realized that I was trapped. And I had no idea what the League of Villains had planned for me.
