**Chapter 254: Disrupted Plans**
Part 254
Just as Dabi was about to begin his twisted game, the door creaked open and two figures strode in, disrupting the sinister atmosphere that had settled over the room. Dabi's eyes narrowed as he turned to face the newcomers, his grip on the box tightening. "Ah, perfect timing," he muttered, though his tone was far from welcoming. Shigaraki and Toga Himiko walked into the room, their presence commanding attention. Toga's eyes landed on me, and her face lit up with a manic grin. "OMG, it's Vesper again! I've been waiting to make you bleed again," she exclaimed, her voice bubbling with excitement. She took a step closer, her hands flexing as if eager to sink her fingers into my skin. Shigaraki, on the other hand, merely regarded me with a calm, almost detached expression. His eyes seemed to hold a hint of curiosity, but his face remained otherwise neutral. He didn't share Toga's enthusiasm, instead choosing to focus on Dabi. "What's going on here?" he asked, his voice low and even. Dabi's smirk faltered for a moment, before he regained his composure. "Just a little experiment I was about to conduct," he said, holding up the box. "But I think it can wait." He took a step back, his eyes flicking between Shigaraki and Toga. "You two are interrupting something." Toga didn't seem to notice Dabi's tension, her attention still fixed on me. "I've been thinking about you nonstop, Vesper," she said, her voice husky with anticipation. "I have so many new ideas for how to make you bleed." Her eyes gleamed with a mad light, and I felt a shiver run down my spine as she took another step closer. Shigaraki, however, shot Toga a warning glance. "Toga, let's not get ahead of ourselves," he said, his voice calm and measured. He turned to Dabi. "We need to talk about our plans. There's been a development." Dabi raised an eyebrow, his expression skeptical. "A development?" he repeated. "What kind of development?" Shigaraki's gaze flicked to me, before returning to Dabi. "One that requires our immediate attention. Let's discuss it elsewhere." His tone brooked no argument, and Dabi's face twisted in a scowl. Toga, however, was not so easily deterred. She reached out a hand, her fingers brushing against the ropes that bound me. "But I want to play with Vesper," she pouted, her lower lip jutting out. Shigaraki's expression turned stern. "Not now, Toga. We have more pressing matters to attend to." His voice was firm, but not unkind, and Toga's face fell. She stepped back, her eyes never leaving mine. As the tension in the room dissipated, I realized that I had been given a temporary reprieve. But for how long? And what did Shigaraki's mysterious development portend? I could only wait and watch, bound and helpless, as the dynamics between these twisted individuals continued to unfold.
