Into the Unknown
Part 3
"Korra, listen-" Mako started, but the avatar cut him off, seemingly very serious. "We can't go to the meeting alone," Avatar Korra said, her voice firm and commanding. "This could be a trap, and we can't risk putting ourselves or Asami in danger." Mako nodded in agreement, his eyes scanning the room as if searching for any potential threats. "I was thinking the same thing," he said. "But we have to do something. We can't just sit here and wait for...whoever this is to contact us again." Korra's eyes narrowed as she thought. "I agree. But we need to be smart about this. We should gather some allies, people we trust, and go to the meeting together." Hiroshi, who had been quietly observing the conversation, spoke up. "I can gather some of my contacts, people who might be able to help us. But we need to be careful. If this is a trap, we don't want to walk into it blindly." Korra nodded, her mind racing with possibilities. "Agreed. Let's get Bolin and Asami's team to help us. We'll go to the meeting, but we'll be prepared." As they began to make plans, Korra couldn't shake the feeling that they were running out of time. Who was behind the mysterious text, and what did they want with Asami? And what was in the package that Asami had taken with her? The rest of the day was a blur of activity as Korra, Mako, and Hiroshi worked to gather a team and come up with a plan. They decided to meet at the old clock tower at 11:45 PM, so they could get there early and scope out the area. As the night drew in, Korra felt a sense of trepidation building inside her. She didn't like the feeling of being led around by a mysterious stranger, but she was determined to find Asami and get to the bottom of this. At 11:45 PM, Korra, Mako, Hiroshi, and Bolin made their way to the old clock tower, their eyes scanning the deserted streets for any sign of danger. As they approached the tower, Korra saw a figure waiting for them in the shadows. "Who are you?" Korra called out, her voice firm. The figure stepped forward, revealing a woman with a familiar face. It was one of Asami's old friends from the Equalists, a woman named Ona. Korra's eyes narrowed. What was Ona doing here, and what did she know about Asami's disappearance?
