Criminal Minds

Part 2

As she walked into the library, Valerie couldn't shake off the feeling that she had just met someone who was trouble. Dean's piercing blue eyes and rugged good looks had left her feeling breathless, and she couldn't help but wonder what he was doing on campus. She pushed open the door to the library and was immediately enveloped in the musty smell of old books and the quiet hum of studious chatter. Valerie made her way to her usual study spot, a cozy corner table near the window, and began to gather her notes and textbooks. As she sat down, she noticed a group of students sneaking glances at her, their whispers and giggles carrying on the air. Valerie felt a flush rise to her cheeks as she realized that they must have seen her talking to Dean. One of them, a blonde girl with a pert nose and a sly smile, caught her eye and mouthed "Dean Winchester" behind Valerie's back. The other girls snickered and whispered, their eyes darting back and forth between Valerie and the girl. Valerie's curiosity was piqued. Who was Dean Winchester, really? And why did he seem to be drawing so much attention to himself? She made a mental note to do some digging, to find out more about this mysterious stranger who had collided with her on the sidewalk. As she began to study, Valerie's mind kept wandering back to Dean. She couldn't help but wonder what he was like, really. Was he the kind of guy who got into trouble, or was he just a little bit reckless? And what was with the leather jacket and the rough air about him? He didn't exactly seem like the typical college student. The more she thought about it, the more Valerie felt a thrill of excitement. She had always been a good girl, following the rules and playing it safe. But there was something about Dean that made her want to break free, to take a chance and see what happened. As the hours ticked by, Valerie found herself getting more and more restless. She couldn't concentrate on her studies, her mind kept drifting back to Dean and the way he had made her feel. She felt like she was being pulled in two different directions, one towards the safety and security of her old life, and the other towards the unknown, with Dean as her guide. Finally, she couldn't take it anymore. Valerie packed up her things and slipped out of the library, determined to find Dean and see if she could uncover the truth about him. As she walked across campus, she felt a sense of freedom that she had never experienced before. She was taking a chance, and she was ready to see where it would lead. The sun was setting, casting a golden glow over the campus, and Valerie felt like she was walking into a whole new world. She had a feeling that she was about to do something that she would regret, but she couldn't help herself. She was a criminal, and she was ready to get caught.
