**Tangled Web of Emotions**

Part 187

Mina's eyes sparkled with excitement as she squealed, "Okkk, before Bakugo beats the crap out of Deku and yells at Vesper, let's move on to the next person!" The group erupted into a mixture of laughter and nervous chuckles, and I couldn't help but feel a flush rise to my cheeks. I turned to Bakugo, expecting him to be fuming, but he looked...mad. Yet, there was a hint of restraint in his eyes, as if he was trying to hide his true emotions. We had never confirmed our relationship, but the possessiveness in his gaze told me that he felt a strong connection to me. I raised an eyebrow, and he merely grunted, his eyes never leaving mine. The tension in the air was palpable as Mina intervened, "Okay, okay, let's move on. Next up is Kaminari!" She dragged Kaminari to the front, a mischievous grin spreading across her face. Kaminari, ever the charming one, flashed a bright smile as he turned to me. "Hey, Vesper, you look beautiful tonight," he said, his eyes crinkling at the corners. I felt my cheeks heat up as I replied, "Thank you, Kaminari," trying to sound casual despite the butterflies in my stomach. Kaminari's smile widened, and he took a step closer, his eyes sparkling with flirtation. Bakugo's eyes narrowed, his gaze fixed on Kaminari with a warning, but Kaminari seemed oblivious to the tension. Mina, on the other hand, was clearly enjoying the drama, her eyes shining with excitement. As Kaminari continued to chat with me, I couldn't help but feel a little overwhelmed. It was clear that this challenge was going to be a test of my emotions, and I wasn't sure if I was ready. But, with my friends by my side, I steeled myself for whatever was to come. Kaminari's conversation was easy and lighthearted, and I found myself relaxing in his presence. But, every now and then, I caught Bakugo's eye, and the tension between us was undeniable. It was clear that this was far from over.
