**Making Changes and New Beginnings**

Part 6

The next day at rehearsal, Ellie-mae gathered her team, including her parents, who owned the studio, Jacquie, and Noah, to discuss some changes she had in mind. As they stood in the studio, Ellie-mae looked out at the group of dancers, who were chatting and laughing amongst themselves. The studio was filled with the familiar scent of sweat and dance shoes. The dancers were seated in their usual positions, with Daniel, Max, Hunter, and Henry in the back row, Chloe, Myles, and Amy in the middle row, and Emily, the user (referred to as "Me" in the context), and Lillie in the front row. "Okay, guys, I wanted to talk to you about the line placements for our upcoming routine," Ellie-mae said, her voice confident and clear. "I think we need to make a few adjustments to get the best out of everyone." Her parents, who were standing at the back of the room, nodded in agreement. Jacquie and Noah exchanged a look, and Jacquie spoke up, "I'm happy to help with that. What did you have in mind, Ellie-mae?" Ellie-mae pulled out a piece of paper and began to explain her vision. "I was thinking of swapping Myles and Hunter to the left and right sides of the formation. And I think Chloe would look great in the center, with Daniel and Max on either side of her." As Ellie-mae continued to explain her plan, Emily, Ellie-mae's best friend, slipped into the room, carrying a large binder and a smile. "Hey, guys! Sorry I'm late. I brought the solo music and we're all set for the auditions." The group began to buzz with excitement as Ellie-mae announced, "Alright, let's get started on the solos. We'll be performing a contemporary piece, and I want to see something that showcases your individuality and style." With Emily's help, the auditions began, and each dancer took their turn to perform a solo in front of the group. As the dancers showcased their talents, Ellie-mae and the team took notes and provided feedback. When it was my turn, I took a deep breath and let the music take over. I closed my eyes and let my body move freely, feeling the emotions of the song flow through me. As I finished, the group applauded, and Ellie-mae smiled, "Great job! That was really powerful." Lillie was up next, and she performed a beautiful, lyrical piece that brought tears to Emily's eyes. As the auditions came to a close, Ellie-mae thanked the dancers for their hard work and promised to announce the solo performances soon. With the auditions out of the way, Ellie-mae turned her attention to the group routine. "Alright, let's get started on the dance. We've got a lot of work to do, but I'm excited to see it come together." The music began, and the group launched into the choreography, their movements fluid and synchronized. As we worked on the dance, Ellie-mae offered words of encouragement and suggestions for improvement. The studio was filled with the sound of laughter, music, and the dancers' hard work, as we began to shape the routine into something truly special.
