The Encounter

Part 2

As Jason introduced himself, Sangwoo's gaze lingered on his face, making him feel like he was under a microscope. The rest of the group chatted amiably with Sangwoo, exchanging small talk and laughter, but Jason couldn't shake off the feeling that he was being singled out. Sangwoo's piercing brown eyes seemed to hold a secret, a message that only he could decipher. Sangwoo stood up, his tall frame towering over the group, and Jason felt a flutter in his chest. "It's nice to meet you all," Sangwoo said, his voice smooth and low. "I have to admit, I'm a fan of your work." The group beamed with pride, exchanging excited glances. "Really?" Rage asked, his enthusiasm evident. "Which videos are your favorite?" Sangwoo smiled, his eyes never leaving Jason's face. "I enjoy your more... unconventional challenges," he said, his voice dripping with subtle innuendo. Jason's cheeks flushed, and he looked away, trying to play it cool. As they chatted, Jason noticed that Sangwoo seemed to be subtly manipulating the conversation, steering it towards him. The others didn't seem to notice, but Jason felt like he was being pulled into a web of intrigue. Suddenly, Sangwoo glanced at his watch and stood up. "I'm so sorry, but I have to go," he said, his voice apologetic. "It was nice meeting you all." The group bid Sangwoo farewell, but Jason lingered, feeling a sense of unfinished business. "Hey, wait," he said, taking a step forward. "Can I ask you something?" Sangwoo turned back, his eyes sparkling with curiosity. "Of course," he said, his voice low and inviting. Jason hesitated, unsure of what to ask. But something about Sangwoo's gaze drew him in, made him feel like he had to know more. "What's your favorite kind of music?" he asked, the question tumbling out of his mouth. Sangwoo's smile grew wider, and he took a step closer to Jason. "I have a fondness for K-pop," he said, his voice low and husky. "And you?" Jason's heart skipped a beat as Sangwoo's face inches from his. "I love K-pop," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. Sangwoo's eyes crinkled at the corners, and he leaned in closer. "Maybe we can discuss it further," he whispered, his breath tickling Jason's ear. The group around them melted away, leaving only the two of them, suspended in a bubble of tension and anticipation. Jason's heart pounded in his chest as he nodded, unsure of what he was getting himself into. As Sangwoo turned and walked away, Jason felt a shiver run down his spine. He couldn't shake off the feeling that his life was about to change in ways he couldn't imagine.
