**Chapter 7: A New Threat**

Part 7

The calmness that had settled over Arendelle was a facade, for in the shadows, a different kind of storm was brewing. Prince Hans, the man who had once sought to destroy the very kingdom he now claimed to love, was facing a reckoning. His brother, Lars, was determined to distance himself from Hans' failures, to salvage what was left of their family's reputation. In a dark, damp alleyway, Lars confronted Hans, his voice low and urgent. "You've brought shame to our family, Hans. Your actions in Arendelle were a disaster. You nearly destroyed the kingdom, and for what? Power? Ambition?" Hans sneered, his eyes flashing with anger. "I did what I had to do. I would do it all again, if it meant achieving my goals." Lars shook his head, disgust etched on his face. "You're a fool, Hans. You have no idea what it means to truly lead, to put the needs of others before your own. You're a selfish, arrogant man, and you deserve to pay for your mistakes." The air was thick with tension as Lars turned to leave, but Hans called out to him. "Wait! You can't just abandon me like this. I have plans, ideas..." Lars turned back, his expression cold. "I've heard enough of your plans, Hans. It's time for a change. I've found a way to...rectify the situation. A way to give you a second chance." Hans' eyes narrowed, his mind racing with possibilities. "What are you talking about?" Lars smiled, a calculating glint in his eye. "I've discovered an ancient spell, one that can reverse the aging process. You can start anew, Hans. You can become the person you were meant to be." Hans' face lit up with excitement. "Do it," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. And with that, Lars set in motion a chain of events that would change Hans' life forever. The prince's fate was about to take a dramatic turn, one that would lead him back to Arendelle, and into the lives of the very people he had once sought to destroy. In the palace, Iduna was unaware of the storm brewing on the horizon. She was still reeling from the loss of Agnarr, trying to come to terms with the new reality. But as she looked out at the calm, peaceful landscape, she couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. A sense of unease settled in the pit of her stomach, a feeling that would only grow stronger as the days passed. The days blended together in a blur of routine and grief. Iduna went through the motions of palace life, attending meetings and ceremonies, but her heart wasn't in it. The pain of losing Agnarr felt like a weight that pressed down on her, making it hard to breathe. Her brown hair, styled in a coronet braid, seemed like a distant reminder of her life with Agnarr and the girls. Elsa and Anna tried to support her, but they were still reeling from the news themselves. They had always been close to their father, and his loss was a devastating blow. Iduna could see the worry etched on their faces, and she knew they were trying to be strong for her. As she sat in her chambers, Iduna stared blankly at the wall, her mind numb. She couldn't shake the feeling of emptiness that had settled inside her. Agnarr was gone, and she would never hear his warm laughter or see his smile again. Tears pricked at the corners of her eyes, but she pushed them back, not wanting to cry in front of her daughters. The sound of Elsa and Anna's laughter carried on the breeze, a reminder that life went on, even in the midst of grief. But Iduna couldn't shake the feeling that something was coming, something that would disrupt the fragile peace that had settled over Arendelle. And she was right, for in the shadows, Hans was waiting, his eyes fixed on the kingdom he had once sought to destroy.
