## Riptide of Memories
Part 2
As Eraser Head stood frozen, Rae made her way towards him, her purple hair bouncing with each step. The vibrant color was a stark contrast to the dull, everyday atmosphere of the staff room, and it was as if she had brought a burst of chaos into his life. Her thick, black-framed glasses perched on the end of her nose, giving her an endearingly quirky look that Eraser Head remembered all too well. "Hitoshi," she said, using the name she had always called him, her voice low and husky. "It's been far too long." Eraser Head felt his face grow warm as he struggled to find his voice. He hadn't expected Rae to have such an immediate impact on his life, and he wasn't sure how to process the emotions that were swirling inside him. He cleared his throat, trying to composed himself. "Rae. It's... unexpected to see you here." Rae chuckled, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "I know, I know. I'm a bit of a surprise. But I heard U.A. was looking for someone to shake things up, and I just couldn't resist the opportunity." She grinned mischievously. "Besides, I heard you were getting a little too comfortable in your role as a teacher. I figured it was time to stir things up." Eraser Head raised an eyebrow, his mind racing with memories of their past relationship. They had been young and reckless, and their whirlwind romance had been marked by chaos and passion. But ultimately, their differences had driven them apart. Eraser Head had thought he'd left those days behind him, but now, with Rae standing in front of him, he felt like he was being pulled back into the undertow. As they stood there, the tension between them was palpable. Eraser Head could feel the weight of their shared history bearing down on him, and he wasn't sure how to navigate the complex emotions that were swirling inside him. He glanced around the staff room, noticing the curious glances from his colleagues. It was clear that Rae's presence had caused a stir, and Eraser Head wondered what the consequences would be. Rae, seeming to sense his unease, reached out and touched his arm. "Hey, let's catch up later, okay? I have a meeting with the administration to discuss my course syllabus, and I don't want to be late." Her eyes sparkled with mischief. "But I promise, Hitoshi, we'll have plenty of time to talk. And maybe... reconnect." Eraser Head felt a jolt of electricity at her touch, and he quickly pulled his arm away, trying to maintain some semblance of distance. "Of course," he said, his voice a little too stiff. "I'll... look forward to it." As Rae walked away, Eraser Head couldn't help but feel like he was in trouble. The memories of their past relationship came flooding back, and he was torn between his duty as a teacher and his lingering emotions for Rae. He thought back to the way they used to be, the way they used to laugh and argue and love. It was like no time had passed at all, and yet, everything had changed. The rest of the day passed in a blur for Eraser Head. He went through the motions of his classes, but his mind kept wandering back to Rae. He wondered what she was teaching, and how she was interacting with the students. He wondered if she was happy, and if she was still as chaotic and unpredictable as he remembered. As the day drew to a close, Eraser Head found himself standing outside the staff room, hesitating. He knew that if he went in, he'd see Rae, and he wasn't sure if he was ready for that. But as he took a deep breath and pushed open the door, he was greeted by the sight of Rae, sitting at a table, grading papers and laughing with a group of students. Eraser Head's heart skipped a beat as he watched her, feeling a mix of emotions swirling inside him. He knew that he had to be careful, that he couldn't let his feelings for Rae get in the way of his duties as a teacher. But as he looked at her, he couldn't help but feel drawn to her, like a ship to a siren's song. For a moment, he just stood there, watching her, remembering the past and wondering about the future. And then, he took a step forward, his heart pounding in his chest. He knew that he had to face whatever was happening between them, head-on. The question was, was he ready for the chaos that Rae would bring into his life?
