**Chapter 1: Behind the Scenes**

Part 1

The bright lights of the film set illuminated the bustling crew, all scrambling to capture the perfect shot. Helen Le, a skilled and unassuming production assistant, moved with ease, her dark hair tied back in a neat ponytail. She had been working on the set of "Echoes in the Night" for weeks, and it was clear that she was a vital part of the team. As she expertly juggled multiple tasks, her eyes flicked to the lead actor, Lewis Pullman, who was currently in the middle of a take. Helen had always been a fan of Lewis's work, but she had never thought she'd be working alongside him. As a rising star, Lewis was used to being surrounded by adoring fans and beautiful people. Helen, on the other hand, was just a PA, tasked with making sure the set ran smoothly. She had grown accustomed to being invisible, and she preferred it that way. As Lewis finished his take, he strode off the set, chatting with the director and his co-star, Kaia Sloane. Helen couldn't help but roll her eyes; Kaia was a nepo baby actress, known for her stunning looks and privileged upbringing. Helen had seen it before – the way Kaia batted her eyelashes, the way she flirted shamelessly with Lewis. It was all so predictable. Helen's gaze lingered on Lewis for a moment, and she felt a flutter in her chest. She quickly looked away, chiding herself for being distracted. She had work to do. As she busied herself with a stack of scripts, she couldn't shake the feeling that Lewis was watching her. She glanced up, and their eyes met for a brief moment. Helen felt a jolt of surprise; she had expected him to be oblivious to her presence. Lewis, however, was intrigued by the quiet, reserved PA. She didn't fawn over him like everyone else on set. She didn't seem to care that he was a star. In fact, she barely acknowledged his presence. It was... refreshing. As the day drew to a close, Helen breathed a sigh of relief. She had survived another chaotic day on set. As she packed up her things, Lewis approached her. "Hey, Helen, can I ask you something?" he said, his eyes crinkling at the corners. Helen looked up, startled. "Of course, Lewis. What is it?" "I'm having some trouble with my script. Can you help me find a reference for this one scene?" he asked, his brow furrowed in concentration. Helen's heart skipped a beat. Lewis was asking for her help? She nodded, trying to play it cool. "Of course, I'll take a look." As they pored over the script together, Helen felt a sense of excitement she couldn't quite explain. She was just a PA, after all. Lewis was a star. But for a brief moment, they were just two people, working together, equals. Little did Helen know, this was just the beginning of a complicated dance, one that would leave her heart racing and her emotions reeling.
