**Chapter 3: "The Accident"**

Part 3

The sun was shining bright as the AMP members and Ray headed out to a local basketball court for a friendly game. The excitement was palpable as they laced up their sneakers and began to play. Ray, being the athletic and agile person he was, quickly proved himself to be a formidable opponent. His quick reflexes and agility allowed him to dodge and weave around the other players with ease. As the game intensified, Davis found himself guarding Ray. In the heat of the moment, he got a bit too aggressive and accidentally pushed Ray. Ray's eyes widened in surprise as he felt himself losing balance. Before he could react, he fell to the ground, scraping his nose, forehead, arms, and knees. The court fell silent as the others rushed to Ray's side. Duke and Agent helped him up, concern etched on their faces. "Yo, Ray, you okay, man?" Duke asked, gently examining his injuries. Ray winced, but nodded, "Yeah, I'm fine, guys. It's just a few scrapes." However, Davis was a different story. He looked like he was about to vomit, his face pale with guilt. "I'm so sorry, Ray. I didn't mean to push you," he kept repeating, his voice shaking. Kai, who had been observing the scene from a distance, suddenly appeared, his eyes blazing with anger. "What the actual fuck happened?" he demanded, his voice rising. Agent stepped in, trying to calm him down. "Kai, it was an accident. Davis didn't mean to push Ray." But Kai wasn't having it. "An accident? How do you 'accidentally' push someone?" he spat, his gaze narrowing at Davis. Davis took a step back, intimidated by Kai's aggression. "I-I didn't mean to, Kai. I'm sorry." Kai's anger only intensified. "You're sorry? You're sorry? You could've hurt him seriously!" The others exchanged uneasy glances, sensing the tension building. Duke tried to intervene, "Kai, calm down, man. It was an accident." But Kai was beyond reason. He took a step closer to Davis, his fists clenched. Agent quickly placed a hand on his shoulder, trying to restrain him. "Kai, stop. This isn't going to solve anything." The butler, who had been watching the scene unfold, nervously approached them. "Um, I've got the medical supplies you requested earlier," he said, holding up a bag. Kai's gaze flicked to the butler, and then back to Davis. For a moment, it seemed like he was going to explode. But then, he turned and stormed off, grabbing the medical supplies from the butler. "I need to take care of Ray," he muttered. The others watched him go, relieved that the situation hadn't escalated further. Agent turned to Davis, "You good, man?" Davis nodded, still looking shaken. "Yeah, I deserved that." Agent placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "You didn't deserve that, Davis. Kai's just being...Kai. I'll talk to him later." As the others began to disperse, Ray made his way back to the penthouse, his injuries throbbing in pain. Little did he know, Kai's anger was only just beginning to simmer, and it was all directed at him.
