A Message of Relief

As they stood in the empty park, Taehyun's phone suddenly buzzed in his pocket, breaking the silence. He pulled it out, his heart racing with anticipation, and saw a text from Joon-oh: "Hey, I'm so sorry I'm running super late. I got held up at work and lost track of time. I'm okay, don't worry about me." Taehyun felt a wave of relief wash over him, followed by a mix of emotions. He looked over at Yeonjun, who was watching him with a concerned expression. "Joon-oh just texted me," he said, showing him the screen. Yeonjun's face relaxed into a smile. "That's great news," he said. "I'm glad he's okay." Taehyun nodded, feeling a sense of gratitude towards Joon-oh for letting him know he was safe. But as he looked at Yeonjun, he realized that he didn't want to go meet up with Joon-oh right now. He wanted to spend more time with Yeonjun, to enjoy the quiet companionship they had shared earlier. "Hey, I think I'm going to cancel our plans with Joon-oh," Taehyun said, feeling a little guilty but also relieved. Yeonjun raised an eyebrow. "Is everything okay?" Taehyun smiled, trying to convey his thoughts without saying too much. "Yeah, everything's fine. I just...I don't know, I was thinking that maybe we could just go back to my place and hang out instead?" Yeonjun's expression softened, and he nodded. "That sounds great to me," he said. Taehyun felt a sense of happiness wash over him. He was glad that he could spend more time with Yeonjun, and that Joon-oh understood that sometimes plans needed to change.
