Chapter 17: Morning After

Part 16

The warm sunlight streaming through the window gently coaxed Nene awake, her eyelids fluttering open as she slowly came to. She was met with the sight of the twins, still wrapped around her, their arms and legs tangled in a messy heap. Nene's eyes widened as memories of the previous night came flooding back, her face growing hot with embarrassment. She tried to process what had happened, her mind still foggy from sleep and the events of the previous night. The twins had...they had confessed their love, and she had...well, she had pretty much let them have their way. A mix of emotions swirled inside her, but as she looked at the twins, she couldn't help but feel a little flustered. Nene's eyes darted back and forth between the twins, who were still fast asleep. She couldn't believe she had let things get so out of hand. She had always been the strong, independent one, and now...now she wasn't so sure. The twins seemed to have turned the tables on her, and she was still reeling from the aftermath. As she lay there, trying to gather her thoughts, Nene couldn't help but think about what had happened. She had let them make love to her, and she had enjoyed it. She had felt safe and loved in their arms, and that was a scary thought. She had always prided herself on being in control, and now...now she wasn't so sure. The twins stirred, Amane's eyes flickering open as he smiled at her. "Good morning," he whispered, his voice husky with sleep. Tsukasa followed suit, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he smiled at her. "Morning," he said, his voice equally as husky. Nene's face grew even hotter as she smiled back at them, trying to play it cool. "Morning," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper. The twins wrapped their arms around her, pulling her close as they held her tight. Nene felt a sense of comfort and security wash over her, and for a moment, she forgot about her embarrassment and just enjoyed the moment. But as the reality of the situation set in, Nene's expression turned serious. She needed to talk to them, to figure out what had happened and what it meant for their relationship. She couldn't just ignore it and pretend like nothing had changed. "Guys," she said, her voice firm as she tried to extract herself from their grasp. "We need to talk." The twins exchanged a glance, their expressions uncertain. "About what?" Amane asked, his voice cautious. Nene took a deep breath, her heart racing with anticipation. "About last night," she said, her voice firm. "About what happened, and what it means for us."
