Caught in the Act Eric's eyes were still fixed on Maya as she walked out of the room, her naked form leaving him breathless. It was a gentle knock, but it was insistent. Eric's eyes widened in panic as he realized it was his mom. Maya had forgotten to lock the door, and his mom had walked right in on them. The door creaked open, and Eric's mom stood in the doorway, her eyes scanning the room until they landed on the two lovers. Eric's face turned bright red with embarrassment as he saw his mom's shocked expression. "Mom," Eric stuttered, his voice barely above a whisper. His mom's eyes widened in shock, and she took a step back, her hand covering her mouth. "Eric, I...I didn't mean to interrupt," she stammered. Maya quickly moved to get out of bed, grabbing a sheet to cover herself. Eric's mom turned her back on them, trying to give them some privacy. "Please, just give us a minute," Maya asked, her voice shaking. Eric's mom nodded, still turned away from them. "I'll...I'll just wait outside," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. As the door closed behind her, Eric let out a sigh of relief. He looked at Maya, who was still shaking with embarrassment. "I'm so sorry," Maya whispered, her eyes welling up with tears. Eric pulled her into his arms, trying to comfort her. "It's not your fault," he said, his voice soft. "We're adults, we can handle this." But as they sat there, wrapped in each other's arms, Eric couldn't help but wonder how he was going to face his mom again. He had always been close to his mom, but this was a level of embarrassment he had never experienced before. Maya seemed to sense his unease and pulled back to look at him. "We'll face her together," she said, her voice determined. Eric nodded, feeling a sense of gratitude towards her. Together, they could handle anything, even his mom walking in on them having sex. As they sat there, trying to gather their courage, Eric's mom knocked on the door again. "Guys, I'm sorry to interrupt, but I was wondering if I could talk to you for a minute?" she asked, her voice hesitant. Eric took a deep breath and nodded, even though she couldn't see him. "Yeah, mom, come in," he said, his voice resigned. The door opened, and his mom walked in, her eyes scanning the room until they landed on the two lovers. She took a deep breath and sat down on the bed beside them. "I'm sorry again for interrupting," she said, her voice soft. "I just wanted to talk to you about something. But maybe this can wait until later?" Eric nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over him. "Yeah, mom, that can wait," he said, his voice grateful. His mom nodded and stood up, her eyes lingering on the two lovers before she turned and walked out of the room again. Eric let out a sigh of relief as the door closed behind her. Maya looked at him, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Well, that was certainly an interesting experience," she said, her voice teasing. Eric couldn't help but laugh. "Yeah, I guess you could say that," he said, his voice chuckling. As they sat there, wrapped in each other's arms, Eric knew that this was just the beginning of a new chapter in their lives, one that would be filled with laughter, love, and maybe a few more embarrassing moments.
