Chapter 19: Wrapped in Each Other

As they lay there, still basking in the excitement of their new relationship, Daniel reached out and gently pulled the blankets over them. Emma snuggled in close, her body warm against his, and they both settled in for a well-deserved rest. The tension between them had dissipated, replaced by a sense of comfort and security.
