**Chapter 59: A Sweet Surprise**

Part 59

The days that followed were a whirlwind of excitement and preparation as Jacquie, Noah, Ellie Mae, and Mya eagerly awaited the arrival of their new baby girl. The house was filled with the sound of chatter and laughter as they busied themselves with last-minute preparations. Jacquie and Noah had decided to turn the nursery into a whimsical fairy tale world, complete with a beautiful white crib, a changing table adorned with a delicate floral wallpaper, and a plush area rug in a soft, pastel pink. Ellie Mae and Mya were practically bouncing with excitement as they helped their parents prepare for the new addition. They spent hours picking out adorable outfits and toys for their baby sister, and even made her a special handmade quilt. Mya, being the crafty one, took it upon herself to create a beautiful mobile to hang above the crib, complete with delicate paper flowers and sparkling fairy lights. As the due date drew near, Jacquie started to feel a mix of emotions. She was excited to meet her baby girl, but she was also a little nervous about the challenges of motherhood. Noah, sensing her anxiety, took her hand and reassured her that they were in this together. "We've got this, Jacquie," he said, smiling into her eyes. "We're going to be amazing parents." One evening, as they were putting the finishing touches on the nursery, Ellie Mae turned to Jacquie with a curious expression. "Mommy, what's it going to be like when the baby comes?" she asked, her eyes wide with wonder. Jacquie smiled, thinking back to when Ellie Mae and Mya were born. "It'll be a big adjustment, sweetie," she said, "but we'll figure it out together as a family. We'll have to share Mommy and Daddy's attention with the baby, but we'll also get to experience all the joys of having a new sibling." Mya, who had been quietly observing the conversation, suddenly piped up. "I want to help take care of the baby, Mommy!" she exclaimed. Jacquie's heart swelled with pride. "That's so sweet, Mya," she said. "We'll definitely need your help. You and Ellie Mae can be the baby's big sisters and help us with all the baby duties." As the night drew to a close, Jacquie and Noah sat on the couch, surrounded by their two little girls, feeling grateful for the love and excitement that filled their home. They knew that their family was about to get a whole lot bigger, and they couldn't wait to see what the future held. Just then, Jacquie's phone buzzed with a text from the doctor. "It's time," the message read. "Come to the hospital now." Jacquie's heart skipped a beat as she turned to Noah. "It's happening," she whispered, her eyes shining with excitement. Noah smiled, taking her hand in his. "Let's go," he said, and together, they ushered their two little girls out the door, bound for the hospital and the arrival of their precious baby girl.
