"Aftermath"
Part 15
As I pulled out of her, Lex let out a soft moan, her body still shuddering with the aftershocks of our passion. She moved her hand to her back, trying to grab my hand, and I intertwined our fingers, holding on tight. I could feel her warmth, her gentle tremors, as she leaned back into me. I wrapped my arms around her, holding her close, and buried my face in her hair. "Lex," I whispered, my voice low and husky. "I...I don't know what just happened." She chuckled, a soft, throaty sound, and I could feel her smile against my chest. "I think you do," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. I pulled back, looking down at her, and she met my gaze, her eyes sparkling with mischief. Her cheeks were flushed, her skin still glowing with the heat of our passion. I couldn't help but smile, feeling a sense of satisfaction, of completion, wash over me. We stood there for a moment, just looking at each other, the world around us melting away. I could feel the tension between us, the electricity that still crackled through the air. It was as if our bodies had created a connection, a bond that went beyond words. Lex broke the silence, her voice soft and hesitant. "I...I think we need to talk." I raised an eyebrow, feeling a sense of trepidation creep in. "About what?" I asked, trying to keep my voice light. She took a deep breath, her eyes searching mine. "About us. About what just happened." I nodded, feeling a sense of inevitability wash over me. I knew that we couldn't avoid this conversation forever. "Okay," I said, my voice soft. "Let's talk." I led her to the couch, and we sat down, our bodies still entwined. Lex leaned back into me, her head on my shoulder, and I wrapped my arms around her, holding her close. As we sat there, I could feel her heartbeat slowing down, her body relaxing into mine. I knew that we had reached a turning point, a point of no return. And I wasn't sure if I was ready for what came next.
