Part 22

As Maya stood at the front of her classroom, writing notes on the blackboard, she couldn't help but feel a sense of normalcy wash over her. Just a few hours ago, she had been in Eric's arms, lost in a world of pure pleasure, and now she was back in her own world, teaching a room full of rowdy high school students. She smiled to herself, feeling a sense of satisfaction at the way her life was falling into place. The students were chatting and laughing, completely unaware of the turmoil that had been brewing in Maya's personal life. She glanced around the room, making eye contact with a few of them, and began to lecture on the finer points of Shakespearean sonnets. Meanwhile, Eric sat in the back of the classroom, trying his best to focus on the lesson. But it was no use. His mind kept wandering back to Maya, to the way she had felt in his arms, to the way her skin had tasted and smelled. He couldn't concentrate on anything except the thought of taking her again, of feeling her body wrapped around his. As Maya wrote on the blackboard, Eric's eyes followed the movement of her hand, and he felt his body responding. He shifted uncomfortably in his seat, trying to hide his growing arousal from the rest of the class. But it was no use. He was completely and utterly distracted by the woman standing in front of him. Maya, oblivious to the effect she was having on Eric, continued to teach, her passion and enthusiasm infectious. The students were engaged, and the lesson was flowing smoothly, but Eric just couldn't seem to get his mind back on track. As the class drew to a close, Maya turned to face the students, and her eyes met Eric's. For a moment, they just stared at each other, the tension between them palpable. Eric felt like he was drowning in the depths of her eyes, and he knew that he had to get out of there, before he did something that would get him kicked out of school. The bell rang, signaling the end of the period, and the students began to file out of the classroom. Maya smiled, gathering her things, and Eric was the first one out of his seat, making a beeline for her. "Hey," he said, his voice low and husky, as he fell into step beside her. "You were amazing in there." Maya smiled, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Thanks," she said. "I try my best." Eric's eyes locked onto hers, and for a moment, they just walked in silence, the tension between them building. Maya felt a flutter in her chest, and she knew that she was in trouble. She had a feeling that this was going to be a very long day.
