Chapter 60: Copycat Conundrum

Part 59

I turned back to Ochaco, a wide grin spreading across my face. She smiled back at me, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "You really are stupid, Dabi, and you thought you got the right person," she said, chuckling. I burst out laughing, unable to contain my amusement. "Well, I mean, you were one of the people we wanted, so that works," I said, still chuckling. Dabi's face turned an even deeper shade of red with rage. "Shut up! This isn't funny!" he snarled, taking a step forward. Ochaco and I exchanged a look, and I could see the mirth in her eyes. "Oh, come on, Dabi," I said, still grinning. "It's a little funny. You got outsmarted by a high school girl." Bakugo snorted, trying to stifle a laugh. Deku looked on, a mixture of confusion and concern on his face. "Wait, so you're saying that Dabi's Quirk lets him copy people's appearances and voices?" he asked, looking at me and then at Ochaco. I nodded. "That's right, Deku. And it seems like he got a little too confident in his abilities." Dabi's eyes flashed with anger, and he took another step forward. "You're going to pay for this," he growled. Ochaco and I exchanged another look, and I could see the determination in her eyes. We were in this together now, and we were going to take down Dabi and his twisted plans. "Oh, I'm shaking in my boots," I said, rolling my eyes. Dabi's face twisted in rage, and he charged at us. But before he could reach us, Ochaco and I sprang into action. We worked together seamlessly, using our Quirks to take down Dabi and gain the upper hand. As we stood victorious, I turned to Ochaco and grinned. "Not bad for a copy, huh?" Ochaco smiled back, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Not bad for the real deal," she said, winking at me. Together, we faced our friends, ready to take on whatever challenges lay ahead.
