Uncharted Territory

"Uncharted Territory" echoed in my mind as Adrian's words hung in the air, leaving me wondering what exactly we were about to venture into. I took a deep breath, trying to calm my racing heart, and nodded again, my eyes locked onto his. Adrian smiled softly and took a step closer to me, his eyes never leaving mine. "I think we need to talk about what's happening between us," he said, his voice low and gentle. "We've been dancing around this for a while now, and I think it's time we acknowledged the elephant in the room." I felt a flutter in my chest as I tried to process what he was saying.
