**Chapter 1: The Unwanted Bride**

Part 1

The sun beat down on the parking lot of Jaekyung's training grounds, casting a golden glow over the sleek black car that had just pulled up. Esther, a girl with thick brown braids and bright blue eyes, stepped out of the vehicle, her sweet and innocent appearance a stark contrast to the rough, rugged atmosphere of the boxing gym. She was dressed in an oversized T-shirt and very short shorts, her outfit changing constantly, but her kind heart and naive demeanor remaining a constant. Jaekyung's father, a tall and imposing figure, emerged from the driver's seat, his eyes scanning the surroundings before settling on his son, who was leaning against the wall, watching them with a mixture of disdain and curiosity. Jaekyung's rugged features, chiseled from years of intense training and fighting, seemed to darken even further as he gazed at Esther. "Ah, Jaekyung, my boy," his father said, striding over to him, Esther following closely behind. "I'd like you to meet your future wife, Esther." Jaekyung's eyes narrowed, his jaw clenched in annoyance, but he said nothing, simply watching as Esther's face lit up with a bright smile. "Hi," she said, her voice melodic and cheerful, extending a hand in greeting. Jaekyung ignored it, turning back to his father. "What's going on, Father? Why is she here?" His father chuckled, placing a firm hand on Jaekyung's chin, his grip like a vice. "Because, my boy, you're going to marry her. And if you don't, you'll lose everything we've worked for. Your career, our family's reputation... everything." Jaekyung's eyes flashed with anger, but he bit back his retort, his gaze flicking to Esther, who was watching them with wide, curious eyes. As they drove back to their home, Esther chattered excitedly about the training she had observed, asking Jaekyung questions about his techniques and strategies. Jaekyung responded with monosyllabic grunts, his eyes fixed on the road ahead, his face a mask of indifference. When they arrived at their luxurious mansion, Esther's eyes widened in awe, her gaze drinking in the opulent decor and lavish furnishings. Jaekyung simply shrugged, leading her to the kitchen, where she began to prepare dinner, her movements efficient and practiced. As the days turned into weeks, Esther settled into her new life, cooking and cleaning for Jaekyung, taking care of his every need. But despite her kindness and dedication, Jaekyung's animosity towards her only grew, his words becoming increasingly venomous. One evening, as Esther was serving dinner, Jaekyung pushed his plate away, his eyes flashing with anger. "I hate this food," he snarled, his voice low and menacing. "And I hate you." Esther's face fell, her eyes welling up with tears, but she said nothing, simply standing there, her hands clasped together in front of her. Jaekyung's gaze roamed over her, his eyes lingering on her curves, her soft, vulnerable skin. "Why are you so stupid?" he sneered, his voice dripping with contempt. "Can't you see I don't want you?" Esther's face crumpled, but she refused to cry, her eyes locked on Jaekyung's, a spark of defiance flickering to life within them. Jaekyung's gaze held hers, his expression unreadable, but as he turned away, Esther caught a glimpse of something there, a flicker of uncertainty, of doubt. As the night drew to a close, Jaekyung rose from the couch, his movements fluid and powerful, his eyes never leaving Esther's face. "Get ready for bed," he growled, his voice low and husky. "We'll be leaving for my father's place tomorrow." Esther nodded, her heart racing, as Jaekyung turned and strode away, leaving her to wonder what the future held for them, and for their loveless, arranged marriage.
