"You'll never have her," he spat. But Teddy was not to be underestimated. With a wave of his hand, he dispelled Kael's spell, freeing Lyra from his mental grasp. Lyra's eyes cleared, and she looked at Kael with a mixture of shock and horror. "You...you've been manipulating me," she stammered. Kael's face twisted in rage, but Teddy intervened, his hair flashing through a soothing blue. "It's over, Kael. You're not going to hurt Lyra or our unborn child." Lyra's eyes widened as she realized the truth. She wasn't pregnant. Only two years had passed since they defeated The Synthesis. And she was still married to Teddy. Teddy's face broke into a radiant smile. "We're going to be parents, Lyra! And I'm going to be an amazing father." As Lyra's eyes welled up with tears, Teddy enveloped her in a warm hug. Together, they faced Kael, who was now restrained by Teddy's magic. "It's over," Teddy said, his voice firm. "You're going to face justice for your crimes." Lyra smiled, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. She knew that she and Teddy would face the challenges of parenthood together, and that their love would only grow stronger.
