"A Night to Remember"
Part 11
Caleb lay in bed, his mind racing with thoughts of the day's events. The warmth and comfort of the room had initially lulled him into a peaceful sleep, but as the night wore on, he found himself wide awake. As he tossed and turned, an idea began to form in his mind. He couldn't shake the feeling of camaraderie and friendship that had developed between him and the princesses, and he found himself wondering if they would be up for a spontaneous sleepover. The more he thought about it, the more excited he became. He couldn't just go back to sleep without sharing his idea with the girls. Throwing off the covers, he got out of bed and made his way to the door. He slipped out into the corridor, trying not to make too much noise. As he made his way down the hall, he could hear the soft murmur of voices coming from one of the rooms. He knocked gently on the door, and Merida's voice called out, "Come in!" Caleb pushed open the door and found himself in a cozy sitting room, where all the princesses were gathered, chatting and laughing together. They looked up at him, surprised, as he stood in the doorway. "Hey girls," he said, trying to sound casual. "I've just been thinking about what a nice time I had with you all today, and I was wondering if maybe tonight... I could have a sleepover here with all of you?" The room fell silent, as the princesses exchanged surprised glances. Belle was the first to speak up, a mischievous grin spreading across her face. "A sleepover? What did you have in mind?" Caleb's heart skipped a beat as he took in the excited expressions on the girls' faces. "Well, I was thinking we could stay up late, tell stories, and just have some fun together. It would be like a slumber party, but, you know, in a castle." Ariel's eyes lit up. "That sounds like so much fun! I'm in!" Elsa nodded, a small smile playing on her lips. "I'm in, but only if we can have a movie marathon." Snow White clapped her hands together. "Ooh, and we can have pillow fights and play games!" Merida grinned. "I'm so down. Let's do it!" Belle stood up, a determined look on her face. "Let's make it happen. Who's up for some midnight snacks and a night of fun?" The princesses all cheered and began to make plans, their excitement and enthusiasm infectious. Caleb couldn't help but feel a sense of joy and belonging as he joined in on the planning, his idea for a sleepover quickly turning into a night that none of them would ever forget.
