Chapter 15: A Delicious Morning
Part 15
As we walked into the kitchen, the aroma of freshly baked pastries and brewing coffee filled the air, making my stomach growl with hunger. Lex laughed, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "I think someone's hungry," she said, her voice teasing. I grinned, feeling a sense of embarrassment. "You have no idea," I replied, my voice sheepish. Lex chuckled, her hands moving as she began to prepare breakfast. "Well, let's get you fed then," she said, her voice playful. As she worked, I couldn't help but watch her, mesmerized by the way she moved with ease and confidence. She was a woman who was comfortable in her own skin, and it was incredibly sexy. Before long, Lex had prepared a delicious spread of food, including scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, and freshly baked croissants. My stomach growled with anticipation as she handed me a plate. "Dig in," she said, her eyes sparkling with amusement. I didn't need to be told twice. I took a bite of the eggs, and they melted in my mouth, the flavors exploding on my tongue. I closed my eyes, savoring the taste, and let out a contented sigh. Lex laughed, her voice husky. "Glad you like it," she said, her eyes sparkling with amusement. I opened my eyes, meeting her gaze. "It's amazing," I said, my voice sincere. As we ate, the conversation flowed easily, and I found myself feeling more and more at ease in Lex's presence. It was as if we had known each other for years, not just a short time. As we finished our meal, Lex pushed her plate away, a satisfied smile on her face. "I'm full," she said, her voice contented. I nodded, feeling the same way. "Me too," I replied, my voice agreeable. Lex leaned back in her chair, her eyes meeting mine. "So, what's the plan for today?" she asked, her voice curious. I grinned, feeling a sense of excitement. "I was thinking we could explore the city," I said, my voice enthusiastic. Lex's face lit up with enthusiasm. "Sounds like a great idea," she said, her voice eager. As we sat there, basking in the warmth of the morning, I couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation. Today was going to be a great day, and I was excited to see what the future held for us.
