As they stood on the beach, the night air still resonated with the mysterious encounter with Ava, but Malek's hand slipped into Ashlyn's, his fingers intertwining with hers in a gentle, reassuring grasp. "Let's get out of here," he said, his voice low and husky, his eyes scanning the horizon before focusing on her. "I want to take you somewhere special." The air was filled with the scent of saltwater and the faint hint of blooming flowers. Malek stopped at the end of the pier, turned to her, and took both her hands in his. He pulled a small box from his pocket and opened it, revealing a beautiful diamond ring that sparkled in the moonlight. "Will you marry me, Ashlyn?" he asked, his voice filled with hope and love. Tears of joy pricked at the corners of Ashlyn's eyes as she nodded, her heart overflowing with happiness. "Yes, yes, I'll marry you!" she exclaimed, as Malek slid the ring onto her finger. He pulled her into his arms, and they shared a kiss under the starry sky, the sound of the waves and the crickets creating a magical backdrop to their promise. As they broke apart for air, Ashlyn gazed up at Malek, her eyes shining with happiness. "I love you," she whispered. Malek's smile was radiant.
