"Unveiling the Truth"

Part 3

Nalu's gentle knock on the door broke the silence of Bertha's hut. "Bertha, may I come in?" she asked, her voice soft and considerate. Bertha hesitated for a moment, still reeling from what she had just witnessed, before calling out, "Yes, come in." Nalu entered the hut, a warm smile on her face, but her eyes betrayed a hint of concern. "I see you've been exploring," she said, her tone light, but her gaze piercing. Bertha felt a flush rise to her cheeks as she tried to compose herself. "I...I stumbled upon something," Bertha said, her voice barely above a whisper. Nalu's smile faltered, and she closed the door behind her, taking a seat next to Bertha on the bed. "I'm sure you have questions," Nalu said, her eyes locked onto Bertha's. Bertha nodded, her mind racing with the implications of what she had seen. "Akua and Iki...they...they both have...male anatomy," Bertha stammered, her words tumbling out in a rush. Nalu nodded, her expression calm and matter-of-fact. "Yes, Bertha. All of us here in the Kai'wahine have male anatomy. We are born with it, and it's a part of who we are. Our tribe has always been a place where women can live freely, without the constraints of societal expectations." Bertha's eyes widened in surprise. "All of you?" she asked, her voice laced with incredulity. Nalu nodded again. "Yes, every single one of us. We are a tribe of women, born with the physical attributes of both sexes. It's not something we discuss openly with outsiders, but I sense that you're different, Bertha. You have a certain...openness to you." Bertha felt like her whole world had been turned upside down. She had so many questions, but she wasn't sure where to begin. "How...how does it work?" she asked, her curiosity getting the better of her. Nalu chuckled, a low, throaty sound. "It's really quite simple, Bertha. We just...adapt. We've learned to live with our bodies, to understand them, and to love them. Sex is not just about physical pleasure; it's about connection, intimacy, and love. And we experience that in many different ways." Bertha's mind reeled as she tried to process this new information. She had so many questions, but she was also aware that she was being given a rare gift – a glimpse into a world that was both familiar and yet, utterly alien. "I want to understand," Bertha said, her voice sincere. "I want to learn more about your tribe, about your way of life." Nalu's smile returned, warm and genuine. "I'm glad, Bertha," Nalu said, her eyes shining with warmth. "We're glad to have you here. And I'm happy to guide you on this journey, to help you understand who we are and what we're about."
