**Chapter 8: The Threat**

Part 8

Inquisitor Vexis's words hung in the air, a cold and calculated threat that sent shivers down Ahsoka's spine. The image of the child in the artificial womb seemed to burn itself into her mind, a horrific vision that she couldn't shake. "You're a talented little Jedi," Inquisitor Vexis said, his voice mocking. "I'm glad you're enjoying the performance. But just in case you're thinking of getting any ideas, let me remind you of the stakes." He pressed a button on his console, and the holographic image flickered to life in front of Ahsoka. It was an image of a child, a young boy or girl, floating in a artificial womb. Ahsoka's eyes widened in horror as she stared at the image, her mind reeling with the implications. "This is the technology I have at my disposal," Inquisitor Vexis said, his voice dripping with menace. "With this, I can implant a child inside you, and you'll be forced to carry it to term. You'll be a vessel, a mere incubator for the next generation of Inquisitors." Ahsoka felt a wave of revulsion wash over her, her stomach churning with nausea. She knew she had to escape, and fast, or risk being subjected to this twisted fate. She looked up at Inquisitor Vexis, her eyes blazing with defiance. "I'll never cooperate," she said, her voice steady. "You'll never break me." Inquisitor Vexis smiled, his eyes glinting with amusement. "We'll see about that," he said, his voice dripping with menace. "We'll see just how long you can resist." He walked over to Ahsoka, his foot kicking her gently. "You're a strong little Jedi, I'll give you that," he said. "But you're not strong enough to resist me. I'll break you, Ahsoka. I'll break you and use you for my own purposes." Ahsoka felt a surge of anger and determination. She knew she had to escape, no matter what it took. She began to think of a plan, her mind racing with possibilities. Inquisitor Vexis seemed to sense her resolve, and his smile grew wider. "Oh, I think you'll find that you're not as in control as you think you are," he said. "You'll do exactly as I say, or you'll suffer the consequences." He pressed another button on his console, and the room was filled with the sound of machinery humming to life. Ahsoka's eyes widened as she saw a large, cylindrical device emerge from the wall. "This is the implantation chamber," Inquisitor Vexis said, his voice dripping with excitement. "With this device, I can implant the child inside you, and you'll be forced to carry it to term." Ahsoka felt a wave of panic wash over her, her heart racing with fear. She knew she had to act fast, or risk being subjected to this twisted fate. She looked up at Inquisitor Vexis, her eyes blazing with defiance. "I'll never let you do this," she said, her voice steady. "I'll never let you break me." Inquisitor Vexis laughed, his eyes glinting with amusement. "We'll see about that," he said, his voice dripping with menace.
