Tangled Web of Desires
Part 3
As Sabrina walked towards them, Maya's eyes never left hers, a spark of curiosity igniting within her. She had expected anger or frustration, but instead, Sabrina seemed to be enjoying the situation. Nick, still pinned beneath her, seemed unsure of how to react, his eyes darting between the two women. Sabrina reached the side of the pool and leaned against the edge, her eyes locked onto Nick's. "I've been thinking about you all day," she said, her voice husky with desire. "And I have to admit, I was a little surprised to find you two together." Maya's grip on Nick tightened, her nails digging into his skin. She felt a pang of jealousy, which she quickly tried to brush off. After all, she had known that Nick was still involved with Sabrina. But hearing Sabrina's words, seeing the way she looked at Nick, made Maya feel insecure. Nick, sensing Maya's tension, tried to sit up, but she held him down. "It's okay," she whispered, her voice barely audible. But it wasn't okay. Maya felt like she was losing Nick, like he was slipping away from her and back into Sabrina's arms. Sabrina, seeming to sense the tension, took a step closer to the pool. "I think we should talk about this," she said, her eyes locked onto Nick's. "About what we want, and what we're willing to do to get it." Maya's eyes flashed with anger, and she sat up, her long blonde hair cascading down her back. "I think we should just enjoy the moment," she said, her voice strained. But Sabrina's words had struck a chord. Maya felt like she was competing with Sabrina for Nick's attention, and it made her feel cheap. Nick, sensing the tension between the two women, stood up, his eyes locked onto Maya's. "Let's not do this," he said, his voice soft. "Let's just enjoy the moment, and see where things go." But Maya wasn't convinced. She felt like she was just a pawn in Nick and Sabrina's game of desire, and it made her angry. She stood up, her eyes locked onto Sabrina's. "I think I need some space," she said, her voice cold. Sabrina's eyes narrowed, and she took a step back, a look of surprise on her face. "Okay," she said, her voice soft. "I'll give you space." As Maya turned and walked away, Nick called out to her. "Maya, wait." But she didn't look back, didn't respond. She just kept walking, leaving Nick and Sabrina alone by the pool. The sound of the water feature seemed to grow louder, a reminder of the tranquility that had been shattered. Nick's eyes locked onto Sabrina's, and he felt a sense of uncertainty. Where were they headed? And what did they want? He didn't have the answers, but he knew one thing - he wanted Maya back.
