Chapter 13: A Visit to the Unconventional

Part 13

As I stood outside Shoji's room, I took a deep breath and knocked on the door. "Hey, Shoji! It's Vesper," I said, announcing my presence. "Come in!" Shoji's voice called out, sounding as cheerful as ever. I pushed open the door and was greeted by a room that was the complete opposite of what I had expected. While Kirishima's room was filled with workout equipment and Tetsuki's room was probably filled with all sorts of gadgets, Shoji's room was incredibly plain. There was a single sleeping bag on the floor, and that was it. No furniture, no decorations, no clutter. It was as if Shoji had stripped his room down to its bare essentials and was living out of a single bag. I couldn't help but raise an eyebrow as I took in the sight. "Shoji, don't you get bored with a room this... sparse?" I asked, trying to keep a straight face. Shoji shrugged, sitting down in his sleeping bag with a relaxed expression. "I don't need much, Vesper. I'm a simple guy with simple tastes." I chuckled, shaking my head in amusement. "Well, I suppose that's one way to live," I said, smiling at him. As I stood there, I realized that I was starting to get a better understanding of each of my friends' personalities. Kirishima was the fitness enthusiast, Tetsuki was the tech-savvy one, and Shoji... well, Shoji was the minimalist. I said goodbye to Shoji and continued down the hallway, my next stop being Tokoyami's room. As I walked, I couldn't help but wonder what Tokoyami's room would be like. Would it be neat and tidy, or cluttered and chaotic? I knocked on the door, and a deep, serious voice called out, "Enter." I pushed open the door and was immediately struck by the sight of Tokoyami's room. It was... intense. There were all sorts of dark, moody decorations on the walls, and a large, ornate desk sat in the center of the room. Tokoyami himself sat behind the desk, his eyes fixed intently on some sort of book or document. "Ah, Vesper," he said, looking up as I entered. "What brings you here?" I smiled, taking in the atmosphere of the room. "Just visiting around, Tokoyami. I thought I'd drop by and say hello." Tokoyami nodded, his expression serious as always. "I'm glad you did. Please, sit down." I sat down in a chair opposite his desk, taking in the sight of Tokoyami's domain. It was clear that he was a man of intense focus and passion, and I found myself feeling a little intimidated by the sheer intensity of his room. Despite the initial intimidation, however, I felt at ease in Tokoyami's presence. There was something about him that commanded respect, but also made me feel like I could be myself around him. As we talked, I realized that I was starting to get a better understanding of each of my friends, and I was grateful for the opportunity to connect with them on a deeper level. Little did I know, however, that the day was far from over, and there were still many more surprises in store for me.
