Jealousy in the Air

As Erwin's hand closed around Kenzy's, a sudden surge of tension filled the room. Kenzy's other hand was swiftly claimed by a firm grip, and she felt a jolt of surprise as she turned to see Captain Levi's piercing gaze locked onto Erwin's. The usually stoic captain's eyes blazed with a fierce intensity, his jaw clenched in a way that made Kenzy's heart skip a beat. Erwin, seemingly oblivious to the danger signs, smiled warmly at Kenzy. "Come, let's get you to a safe location," he said, his eyes never leaving hers. But Levi's grip on Kenzy's hand tightened, his fingers wrapping around hers like a vice. His glare could have frozen blood, and Kenzy felt a shiver run down her spine as she realized the depth of his emotions. It was as if he was staking a claim on her, warning Erwin to back off. Kenzy's eyes darted between the two men, unsure of how to react. She had never seen Levi like this before, his usual calm demeanor replaced by a raw, possessive energy. Erwin, however, seemed to sense the tension and took a step back, his eyes flicking to Levi's face. "Ah, Captain Levi," Erwin said, his voice smooth as silk. "I didn't realize you were joining us." Levi's gaze never wavered from Erwin's face. "I'm not," he growled, his voice low and menacing. "I'm just making sure you don't get too close to her." Kenzy felt a flush rise to her cheeks as she realized the implications of Levi's actions. He was jealous, and the thought sent a thrill through her veins. She had never seen him like this before, and a part of her wondered what had triggered this reaction. Erwin's smile faltered for a moment, before he regained his composure. "I see," he said, his eyes never leaving Levi's face. "Well, in that case, let's proceed with caution." As Erwin turned to leave, Levi's grip on Kenzy's hand remained firm. He pulled her close, his eyes burning with an intensity that made her heart pound in her chest. "Let's get out of here," he whispered, his breath tickling her ear. Kenzy nodded, her heart racing with excitement. She had a feeling that her life was about to get a lot more complicated, especially with these two powerful men vying for her attention.
