"Possessive Love"
Part 5
As the days went by, Julian's protectiveness over Lexi only intensified. He couldn't shake off the feeling of unease that had settled in his stomach since the paparazzi had started circling them. He began to feel like he was constantly on edge, waiting for the next threat to their relationship to emerge. His team had been working overtime to manage the media frenzy, but Julian knew it was only a matter of time before things escalated. One evening, as they were attending a high-profile gala, Julian's eyes scanned the room, his gaze lingering on the other men who were vying for Lexi's attention. He felt a pang of jealousy, his mind racing with worst-case scenarios. He knew he was being irrational, but he couldn't help the way he felt. As they mingled with the guests, Julian found himself growing increasingly possessive. He subtly positioned himself between Lexi and the other men, his eyes never leaving hers. As the night wore on, Julian's jealousy began to simmer just below the surface. He couldn't help but wonder if Lexi was attracted to someone else, if she was tempted by the wealth and power that surrounded them. He knew it was a ridiculous thought, but he couldn't shake it off. The music and laughter of the party seemed to fade into the background as Julian's mind consumed him with dark thoughts. It wasn't until they were back at Julian's apartment, Lexi drifting off to sleep in his arms, that he made a decision. He couldn't shake off the feeling that he was going to lose her, that she was slipping through his fingers. In a moment of madness, Julian reached for his phone and dialed a number. The voice on the other end was low and gravelly, and Julian didn't hesitate. "I need your help," Julian said, his voice firm. "I need you to make sure that Lexi is...taken care of." The voice on the other end chuckled. "I think I understand what you're getting at, Julian. You want me to make sure she's...with child." Julian's heart was racing as he nodded, even though he knew the other man couldn't see him. "Yes. I want to make sure she's mine, that she'll never leave me." There was a pause on the other end of the line, and for a moment Julian wondered if he had made a mistake. But then the voice spoke up again. "It's done, Julian. You'll get a call from my contact in a few days. They'll take care of everything." Julian hung up the phone, his heart pounding in his chest. He knew what he had just done, and a part of him was horrified. But another part of him, a part that he couldn't ignore, felt a twisted sense of satisfaction. Lexi was his now, and he would do whatever it took to keep her that way. As he looked down at Lexi, who was still sleeping peacefully in his arms, Julian felt a pang of guilt. He knew that he had just made a decision that would change their lives forever, and he couldn't help but wonder if he had just made a huge mistake. The next few days passed in a blur for Julian. He was consumed by his own thoughts, his mind racing with the implications of what he had done. He knew that he had taken a drastic step, one that could potentially ruin their relationship. But he couldn't shake off the feeling that it was necessary, that it was the only way to keep Lexi by his side. As he waited for the call from the contact, Julian couldn't help but feel a sense of anxiety. He knew that he had set something in motion, something that would change their lives forever. And he couldn't help but wonder if he was ready for what was to come.
