"Lost in the Moment"
Part 7
As the days went by, Esme and I found ourselves growing closer, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement whenever she was near. It had been a few days since her visit with Sarah, and I had been thinking about her nonstop. I had almost given up hope of seeing her again, but then I received a text from her, inviting me to a backyard barbecue at her place. I arrived at her house, and she greeted me with a smile. We spent the afternoon chatting and laughing, and as the sun began to set, Esme suggested that we take a break and enjoy some drinks in her backyard. We sat down at a small table, and Esme pulled out a bottle of wine and two glasses. As we sipped our drinks, the conversation flowed easily, and we found ourselves lost in each other's eyes. The sun dipped lower in the sky, casting a warm orange glow over the backyard, and Esme and I both felt a sense of relaxation wash over us. As the night wore on, we decided to move the party inside, and Esme suggested that we have a few more drinks. I agreed, and we headed to her living room, where she pulled out a bottle of whiskey and two glasses. We sat down on the couch, and Esme poured us each a shot. As we sipped our drinks, the conversation turned more serious, and we found ourselves opening up to each other. Esme told me about her past, about her family and her struggles, and I shared my own stories, my own fears and doubts. The more we talked, the more I felt a sense of connection to her, a sense of understanding that I had never felt with anyone before. As the night wore on, we both felt the effects of the alcohol, and our conversation became more slurred, more ridiculous. We laughed and joked, and at one point, Esme started singing, her voice off-key but endearing. I joined in, and we sang together, our voices blending in a ridiculous harmony. As the music died down, Esme leaned in close, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Let's get drunk," she whispered, her voice husky. I grinned, feeling a sense of excitement. "Let's do it," I said, and we both stood up, stumbling slightly as we made our way to the kitchen. We poured ourselves more drinks, and Esme suggested that we take them outside. We stumbled out into the backyard, laughing and joking, and Esme collapsed onto a lounge chair, pulling me down beside her. As we lay there, the stars twinkling above us, Esme turned to me, her eyes locked on mine. "I want to kiss you," she whispered, her voice barely audible. I smiled, feeling my heart racing. "I want to kiss you too," I said, and we both leaned in, our lips meeting in a soft, gentle kiss. As we kissed, the world around us melted away, and all that was left was the two of us, lost in the moment. We kissed deeply, passionately, our bodies pressed together as we explored each other's lips. Esme's hands wandered over my body, touching my chest, my stomach, my hips. I felt a surge of desire, and I knew that I wanted her, all of her. As we broke apart for air, Esme smiled up at me, her eyes sparkling with desire. "I want you," she whispered. I nodded, feeling my heart racing. "I want you too," I said, and we both stood up, stumbling slightly as we made our way to the house. We moved slowly, our bodies swaying to the music in our heads, and as we reached the bedroom, Esme turned to me, her eyes locked on mine. "I want you," she repeated, her voice husky. I smiled, feeling my heart racing. "I want you too," I said, and we both fell onto the bed, our bodies entwined as we gave in to our desires. As we made love, the world around us melted away, and all that was left was the two of us, lost in the moment, lost in each other's eyes. We moved together, our bodies in perfect sync, and as we reached the climax, Esme's eyes locked on mine, and I knew that I had found something special, something that I would never let go of. As we lay there, our bodies spent, Esme smiled up at me, her eyes sparkling with happiness. "I'm glad we did that," she whispered. I smiled back at her, feeling my heart full. "Me too," I said, and we both drifted off to sleep, lost in the moment, lost in each other's arms.
