Bubbling Over with Anticipation
Part 88
As the weeks went by, Jacquie's belly continued to grow, and at 30 weeks, she looked like she was ready to pop. Despite having over a month left of her pregnancy, she was already feeling the strain on her back and joints. Her body was undergoing a transformation, preparing for the arrival of the triplets, and it was taking a toll. Noah was being his usual supportive self, helping Jacquie with everything from household chores to taking care of the girls. Ellie-mae, Mya, and Ava were excitedly chattering about the upcoming arrival of their new siblings, and Jacquie loved seeing their little faces light up whenever they talked about the triplets. One day, as Noah was helping Jacquie get ready for a prenatal appointment, Ellie-mae came into the room, her eyes wide with curiosity. "Mommy, can I ask you something?" she said, looking up at Jacquie with a mischievous grin. "Of course, sweetie," Jacquie replied, smiling. "What are we going to name the babies?" Ellie-mae asked, her brow furrowed in concentration. Jacquie and Noah exchanged a glance. They had discussed names, but hadn't made any final decisions yet. "Well, we've been thinking about that," Jacquie said, "but we haven't decided on anything just yet." Mya and Ava wandered into the room, overhearing the conversation. "Can we help, Mommy?" Mya asked, her eyes shining with excitement. Jacquie laughed. "Maybe we can brainstorm some names together," she suggested. The girls all gathered around, throwing out suggestions and ideas. As they chatted, Jacquie couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. The arrival of the triplets was getting closer, and she couldn't wait to meet her new babies. As they finished getting ready to leave for the appointment, Noah helped Jacquie into the car, and they set off. The prenatal appointment was a routine check-up, but Jacquie was a little nervous. She had been feeling a bit more uncomfortable lately, and she was anxious to hear the doctor's assessment of her health and the babies' progress. As they drove to the appointment, Jacquie reached out and took Noah's hand. "I'm so grateful for you," she said, looking over at him. Noah smiled and squeezed her hand. "I'm grateful for you too," he replied. "We're in this together, always." Jacquie smiled back, feeling a sense of peace wash over her. She knew that with Noah by her side, she could face whatever lay ahead.
