**The LOV's Sinister Intentions**
Part 4
The figure that emerged from the darkness was a student from our school, but their eyes seemed... off. A strange, glazed-over look had taken over their expression, and they began to move towards us with an unnatural gait. I could see the fear in Deku's eyes, and I knew we had to act fast. But before we could react, a figure stepped out from behind the student. It was Dabi, his eyes gleaming with an otherworldly intensity. He was dressed in his usual attire, but there was something different about him. His presence seemed to command attention, and I could feel a malevolent energy emanating from him. "Ah, how nice to finally meet you in person," Dabi said, his voice low and menacing. "I've been hearing a lot about you, Izuku Midoriya. And of course, your friend Katsuki Bakugo." He glanced at Deku, his eyes lingering on him for a moment before moving on to the rest of us. Dabi's gaze landed on a specific point behind us, and I turned to see what he was looking at. It was Ochaco, who had been quietly observing the scene unfold. She seemed oblivious to the danger that was standing in front of us, her big brown eyes looking around in confusion. "Give us the girl," Dabi said, his voice dripping with malice. "And that explosion boy." He nodded towards Katsuki, who was standing a short distance away, his eyes blazing with anger. I felt a surge of protectiveness towards Ochaco and Katsuki. We had to defend them at all costs. Deku and I exchanged a look, and I could see the determination in his eyes. We were not going to let Dabi and his cohorts take our friends without a fight. "I'm not going anywhere," Ochaco said, her voice shaking slightly. She took a step forward, her eyes fixed on Dabi. "And neither is Katsuki." Dabi chuckled, a cold, mirthless sound. "How cute," he said. "You think you can stand up to us? We have the upper hand here. And if you don't comply, things might get... messy." The student who had been standing in front of us suddenly lurched forward, their eyes fixed on Ochaco. I could see the hunger in their gaze, and I knew we had to act fast. Deku and I moved to stand in front of our friends, our Quirks at the ready. "We're not going to let you take them," Deku said, his voice firm. "You'll have to go through us first." Dabi smiled, a cold, calculating smile. "I'm counting on it," he said. "Let's see how well you can do against us." He snapped his fingers, and the student lunged at us, their eyes blazing with an unnatural hunger. I steeled myself for the battle ahead, knowing that it was going to be a fight to the death.
