"Torment and Tantrums"
Part 5
As the DVD player clicked off, Dr. Horror let out a satisfied chuckle, clearly pleased with himself. "Ah, Link, I hope you enjoyed the... enlightening experience. Now, let's discuss how we can make your stay here a bit more... memorable." Link shook his head, still trying to process the cringe-worthy scenes he had just witnessed. "Please, just let me go," he begged, but Dr. Horror just laughed. Dr. Horror turned to his two henchmen, a burly man named Grimgold and a slender, sinister-looking individual named Stryx. "So, gentlemen, which of Christian's... creative techniques should we try on our hero first? The ball gag, perhaps, or the... interesting use of handcuffs?" Grimgold rubbed his hands together, a cruel glint in his eye. "I say we go for the cuffs, Doc. He's a bit of a hero, isn't he? We can use a bit of... discipline to break his spirit." Stryx, on the other hand, was intrigued by the idea of the ball gag. "But think about it, Doc. The look on his face would be priceless. We could use it to... motivate him, shall we say." Link, meanwhile, was talking to himself, trying to calm his racing thoughts. "What have I gotten myself into? This is insane. I have to get out of here, but how?" He glanced around the lair, but there was no sign of escape. He was trapped, and at the mercy of Dr. Horror and his henchmen. As Link's anxiety grew, so did his fear. He thought about all the terrible things that could happen to him, and his mind began to reel. He felt a cold sweat break out on his forehead, and his heart racing in his chest. Back at the castle, Princess Zelda was in a heated discussion with the Mario brothers. "I'm telling you, it's a travesty. Certain races should never be subjected to Japanese disaster movies. The Zora, for example. They're far too sensitive. Or the Gorons - they're already prone to explosive outbursts, we don't need to traumatize them further." Mario and Luigi exchanged a curious glance. "Which ones are you saying should be spared?" Mario asked, and Zelda launched into a lengthy list. "Well, the Zora, as I said, and the Gorons, and the Kokiri - they're just children, for goodness' sake! And the Gerudo... poor things, they're already so fragile. And certainly not the Hylians. We're far too... refined." Luigi raised an eyebrow. "It seems like you have a bit of an obsession with this, Princess. What's behind it?" Mario nodded in agreement. "Yeah, you're really passionate about this." Zelda's expression turned defensive. "It's just that I've seen the effects of those movies on people. It's not pretty. I won't stand by and let it happen to anyone, especially not Link." As Zelda continued to rant, Mario and Luigi exchanged a knowing glance. It was clear that Zelda had a personal stake in this, but they had no idea what it was. All they knew was that they had to help her, and fast, before Dr. Horror could carry out his twisted plans.
