"A Spark of Vulnerability"
Part 4
The days that followed were a blur of training and classes, with Katsuki and Izuku's interactions returning to normal. However, Katsuki couldn't shake off the feeling that something had shifted between them. He found himself stealing glances at Izuku during meals, and their conversations had become laced with an unspoken understanding. During their training session against Mina, Katsuki was determined to push himself to the limit. He was a bit more aggressive than usual, and his teammates noticed the change in him. Mina, in particular, seemed to sense that something was off, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it. As they sparred, Katsuki's movements became more fluid and explosive, his Quirk bursting forth with renewed ferocity. Izuku, determined to keep up, found himself struggling to keep pace with Katsuki's relentless pace. Mina watched from the sidelines, her eyes narrowing as she observed the exchange. "Alright, Katsuki! You're up!" Deku called out, jogging over to join the fight. Katsuki grinned, a fierce intensity burning in his eyes. "Let's go!" The two students clashed, their Quirks swirling around each other as they battled for dominance. Izuku, fueled by a newfound determination, gave his all, pushing against Katsuki's onslaught with every ounce of strength he possessed. In the heat of the moment, Katsuki found himself drawn to Izuku's unwavering resolve. It was as if he had finally found a way to tap into his own potential, to unleash the full fury of his Quirk. As they clashed, Katsuki landed a series of swift kicks and punches, but Izuku refused to back down. With a burst of speed, he managed to dodge and weave around Katsuki's attacks, his movements becoming more fluid with each passing moment. Katsuki's eyes gleamed with a fierce light, and he let out a low growl. "You're getting better, Izuku," he panted, as he launched himself at his opponent. Izuku stumbled backward, his eyes wide with determination. "I'm not going to let you win that easily, Katsuki!" Their training session was intense, with both students giving it their all. As they fought, Katsuki's words from earlier echoed in Izuku's mind: "Good boy." Izuku couldn't help but feel a thrill of excitement whenever he heard those words. He found himself wanting to hear them again, to prove to himself that he was capable of earning Katsuki's praise. The training session ended with a loud crash, as Katsuki and Izuku collided in a flurry of fists and kicks. The two students stood panting, their chests heaving with exertion. As they caught their breath, Katsuki's eyes locked onto Izuku's, and for a moment, they just stared at each other. The air was charged with tension, and Izuku felt his heart pounding in his chest. "You're getting better," Katsuki said, his voice low and gravelly. "But you're still not good enough." Izuku's face twisted into a determined grin. He knew that he had to keep pushing himself, to earn Katsuki's respect and maybe, just maybe, those words again. The scene unfolded with a familiar rhythm, and Katsuki found himself drawn into the fray, his competitive spirit raging like a tempest. He was on fire today, and nothing was going to stop him from giving it his all. Not even Izuku.
