"Proud Parents' Perspective"

Part 8

Jacquie and Noah sat in their office, watching through the large glass window that separated them from the dance studio. They had always loved watching their daughter Ellie-mae in action, but today was especially special. As co-studio owners, they had seen Ellie-mae grow from a shy little girl into a confident and talented young woman. And now, as she led her team through the choreography for their upcoming competition, Jacquie and Noah couldn't help but feel a sense of pride. Noah turned to Jacquie with a smile. "You know, I remember when Ellie-mae first started coming to the studio. She was so tiny and unsure of herself." Jacquie chuckled, nodding in agreement. "And now look at her. She's a natural-born leader, just like her old man," Noah said, his eyes shining with pride. Jacquie laughed. "I think she gets that from both of us, actually." Noah grinned, putting his arm around Jacquie. "Well, whatever the case, she's definitely following in our footsteps. I mean, who would have thought that our little girl would be leading a team to internationals one day?" Two years ago, Noah had led the team to internationals, and the year before that, they had come close, but not quite made it. This year, with Ellie-mae at the helm, Noah had no doubt that they would make it to the top. He and Jacquie had always known that Ellie-mae had a passion for dance, and now she was passing that on to her own team. As they watched, Ellie-mae moved through the studio, offering words of encouragement and constructive criticism to her team. She was in her element, and it showed. Jacquie and Noah exchanged a look, both of them thinking the same thing: their little girl was all grown up. Noah stood up, walking over to the glass window to get a better view. "You know, I think this might be the year we take it all the way to the top," he said, his voice full of excitement. Jacquie stood up beside him, putting her hand on his shoulder. "I think you might be right," she said, smiling up at him. "Ellie-mae is an amazing dance captain, and this team is going to do great things." Noah nodded, his eyes never leaving the studio. As they watched, the team began to come together, their movements fluid and synchronized. Ellie-mae stood at the center, directing them with a confident smile on her face. Jacquie and Noah exchanged a look, both of them feeling a sense of pride and nostalgia. Their little girl was growing up, and she was making them proud.
