**Chapter 17: A New Dynamic**

The twins' expressions were unreadable as Nene tried to extract herself from their grasp, but before she could get a word out, Amane suddenly buried his head between her chest, making Nene look at both of them bright red. "Amane!" She complained, trying to push him away, but he just muffled a response. "Hm? Are we dating you now?" He said, his voice muffled, but his words sent a shiver down Nene's spine. Tsukasa chuckled and shook his head, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Amane, stop being perverted," Tsukasa said, rolling his eyes good-naturedly. "Nene, I think we need to talk about this seriously." Nene's face was still flushed as she tried to process Amane's question. Were they dating now? She hadn't thought about it in those terms, but now that Amane mentioned it, she wasn't sure what else to call it. Tsukasa took a deep breath and began to speak, his voice calm and measured. "Last night, we...we confessed our feelings to you, and you...you accepted us. In a way, I think that means we're together now." Amane popped his head out from between Nene's chest, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Yeah, and we're not letting you go now," he said, making Nene's heart skip a beat. Nene's face grew even hotter as she tried to respond, but before she could, Tsukasa continued. "But we need to talk about what this means for us, for our relationship. We can't just ignore it and pretend like nothing's changed." Nene nodded, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. She had been dreading this conversation, but now that it was happening, she felt a sense of clarity. "So, what does it mean?" Nene asked, her voice barely above a whisper. Amane grinned, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "It means we're your boyfriends now," he said, like it was the most obvious thing in the world. Tsukasa shot Amane a warning glance, but Nene couldn't help but smile. Maybe, just maybe, this was exactly what she needed.
