"A Proposal to Consider"

Sam took a deep breath and let his eyes drop to the desk, trying to gather his thoughts. Val's hand was still on his arm, sending shivers down his spine. He couldn't deny the attraction he felt towards her, but he was also aware of the potential risks and complications that came with it. "I... need to think about it," he said finally, trying to sound calm. Val's grip on his arm relaxed, and she leaned back in her chair, a smile still playing on her lips. "Okay, I can understand that," she said, her voice husky. "Take all the time you need, Sam. But can I ask, what's holding you back? Is it just the fact that I'm your student?" Sam hesitated, unsure of how much to reveal. "It's just... I don't know if it's a good idea," he said vaguely. Val laughed again, a throaty sound that made Sam's face heat up. "Come on, Sam. You're not going to tell me you're a virgin, are you?" she asked, her eyes sparkling with amusement. Sam's face went bright red as he looked away, feeling embarrassed. "Maybe," he muttered, his voice barely audible. Val's laughter died down, and she leaned forward again, her expression serious. "Sam, I had no idea. Look, I promise I'll be gentle, and I'll make sure you're comfortable. I just... I really need your help, okay?" Sam looked up at her, feeling a mix of emotions. He was attracted to Val, but he was also scared and unsure. He didn't know if he was ready for this, or if it was even a good idea. "Just... give me some time, okay?" he asked, trying to stall. Val nodded, a small smile on her face. "Okay, Sam. Take all the time you need. But don't take too long, okay?" As Val stood up to leave, Sam felt a sense of relief wash over him. He had bought himself some time, but he knew he couldn't avoid the issue for long. He was going to have to make a decision, and soon. As the door closed behind Val, Sam let out a deep breath and slumped back in his chair. He had a feeling that his life was about to change in ways he couldn't even imagine. And he wasn't sure if he was ready.
