"Confronting the Chaos"

Shindo's arms were still wrapped tightly around me, his grip possessive and unyielding. I shifted uncomfortably, trying to convey to him that I needed some space. "Shindo, put me down for a sec," I asked, trying to sound casual. He raised an eyebrow, but eventually lowered me to the ground, his eyes never leaving mine. I took a deep breath, trying to gather my thoughts. The room was still charged with tension, the others watching us with varying degrees of interest and hostility. I looked around at the sea of faces, my eyes lingering on Hawks, Dabi, Toga, and Muscular. "Well, about that," I began, a mischievous grin spreading across my face. "I don't really know who I like." The room fell silent, the others exchanging shocked glances. Shindo's eyes narrowed, his face darkening with emotion. Hawks, on the other hand, looked intrigued, a slow smile spreading across his face. I turned to Dabi, Toga, and Muscular, my eyes locked on theirs. "Dabi, Toga, and Muscular, I know you're lying," I said, my voice firm. "I know you're just Twice's clones." Their faces froze, and for a moment, I thought I saw a flicker of uncertainty in their eyes. Then, in a swift motion, I reached out and hit them, my fist connecting with their faces. They let out a strange gurgling sound, and to my surprise, they began to dissolve into pools of mud. The room erupted into chaos once again, but I stood tall, my eyes never leaving Hawks' face. "Anyways, Hawks, do you have anything to say?" I asked, my voice teasing. Hawks' smile grew wider, his eyes glinting with amusement. "I think I've been waiting for this moment for a long time," he said, his voice low and smooth. "Vesper, from the moment I met you, I knew you were different. You're strong, fierce, and beautiful. And I think I'd like to be the one to explore that beauty with you." I raised an eyebrow, my heart skipping a beat. Was Hawks serious? And what did he mean by "explore that beauty"? I couldn't help but feel a thrill of excitement at the prospect of finding out.
