A Night of Unpredictable Turns

Part 9

As we walked, Rafael mentioned that we still had one more thing to do before the night was over. "I'm sorry, I forgot to tell you earlier," he said, his eyes sparkling with a mischievous glint. "We need to film something for my channel. It's just a quick thing, and then I'll take you home." I nodded, curiosity getting the better of me. "What do we need to film?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper. Rafael grinned. "You'll see. It's a surprise." He led me to his apartment building, and I followed him into the lobby. He punched in the code for the elevator, and we rode up to his floor in silence. As we stepped out of the elevator, Rafael gestured for me to follow him. "Make yourself at home," he said, pushing open the door to his apartment. "I'll just get the equipment ready." I walked into the apartment, feeling a little self-conscious. The door was still open, and I could hear Rafael moving around inside, muttering to himself. I called out, "Rafael, I'm here!" There was no response, so I took a step further into the apartment. That's when I heard it - Rafael's voice, raised in anger, coming from the room to my left. "Come on, no way! I had that shot!" he exclaimed, his voice growing louder. "Stupid wallbang...!" I couldn't help but giggle at the sound of Rafael raging about a game. I had never seen him like this before, and it was kind of adorable. I walked quietly towards the room, trying not to make a sound. As I peeked into the room, I saw Rafael sitting in front of his computer, his face red with frustration. He was playing a game of CS:GO, and it was clear that he had just lost a round. He slammed his fist on the desk, making me jump. I couldn't help but laugh at the sight of him, so caught up in the game. Rafael looked up, startled, and our eyes met. For a moment, he just stared at me, his expression sheepish. Then, he grinned, and his face relaxed. "Hey," he said, getting up from his chair. "I guess I'm a little more into this game than I thought." He walked over to me, his eyes sparkling with amusement. I smiled, feeling a little more at ease. "It's okay, I think it's cute," I said, teasing him. Rafael chuckled, running a hand through his hair. "Well, I'm glad you think so. Now, about that filming..." He gestured to the camera equipment set up in the room. I nodded, curiosity getting the better of me. "What do we need to film?" Rafael grinned mischievously. "You'll see. It's going to be fun."
