Reunion
Part 1
The bright lights of the K-pop event dazzled Jackson as he made his way through the crowded hallway. He had just finished a grueling practice session and was looking forward to a quick break before his next appearance on stage. As he turned a corner, he caught sight of a familiar figure standing by the refreshments. His heart skipped a beat as he took in the sight of Jane, looking as stunning as ever in a sleek black dress. Their eyes met, and for a moment, they just stared at each other. The air was thick with unspoken emotions as they exchanged awkward smiles. Jackson felt a rush of memories flood back, memories of their past relationship, their laughter, and their tears. He hadn't seen Jane in years, not since their messy breakup, but the spark between them still seemed to be alive. As he approached her, Jackson couldn't help but notice the way Jane's eyes sparkled in the light. She looked a little more guarded than he remembered, but her beauty still left him breathless. They stood there for a moment, unsure of what to say or do next. "Jackson," Jane said finally, her voice barely above a whisper. "Long time no see." "Jane," he replied, trying to sound casual despite the butterflies in his stomach. "You look... amazing." Jane laughed, a soft, throaty sound that sent shivers down Jackson's spine. "Thanks, I think," she said, her eyes crinkling at the corners. They stood there for a moment, awkwardly chatting about the event and their respective careers. But beneath the small talk, Jackson could sense the tension between them, the unspoken emotions that still lingered. As they talked, Jackson found himself stealing glances at Jane, taking in the way her hair fell in loose waves down her back, the way her lips curved when she smiled. He felt a pang of regret for the way things had ended between them, for not being more supportive and understanding. But as he looked into her eyes, he saw a glimmer of something there, something that gave him hope. Maybe, just maybe, they could rekindle what they once had. The sound of his name being called broke the spell, and Jackson turned to see one of his staff members waving at him. "Sorry, I have to go," he said, reluctantly tearing his gaze away from Jane. "But maybe we can catch up later?" Jane nodded, a small smile playing on her lips. "I'd like that." As Jackson walked away, he couldn't shake the feeling that this reunion was just the beginning of something new, something that could potentially change their lives forever. He felt a sense of determination wash over him, a sense that he was going to win Jane back, no matter what it took. The question was, was Jane ready to give him another chance? Only time would tell.
