"A New Life Beckons"

Part 19

Harry stepped out of the sleek, black carriage that had transported him from Diagon Alley to Gringotts Wizarding Bank, the bright sunlight and warm air a welcome respite from the cool, damp gloom of the bank's interior. He stretched his arms, feeling a sense of satisfaction wash over him as he gazed out at the bustling streets of London. It had taken him and his friends only a few days to finalize the plans for their departure, and now, with the gold and documents safely in hand, Harry felt a sense of excitement and trepidation. He had chosen the Philippines for its warm climate and stunning beaches, and he couldn't wait to show Hermione and Pansy their new home. As he walked into Gringotts, Harry was greeted by the familiar sight of goblins scurrying about, their pointed ears and sharp eyes a testament to their industrious nature. He made his way to the counter, where a goblin with a particularly sour expression looked up at him. "Mr. Potter," the goblin said, his voice dripping with disdain. "I trust you're here to collect your...acquisition?" Harry smiled, producing the necessary documents from his pocket. "I am," he said, handing them over to the goblin. The goblin scanned the papers, his eyes widening slightly as he took in the details. "Ah, yes. The transfer of 100,000 Galleons to your account has been processed. And...ah...the deed to the property in the Philippines." He produced a small, ornate box from beneath the counter, which he handed to Harry. "This contains the title to the beachfront mansion, as well as the keys." Harry took the box, feeling a sense of pride and ownership wash over him. He opened it, revealing a beautifully crafted golden key and a small, leather-bound book. The book was filled with pages of intricate, magical script, detailing the property's boundaries and features. The goblin nodded, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. "The property, known as 'Tahimik Cove', is a stunning beachfront mansion located on the island of Boracay. It comes with all the amenities one would expect, including a private beach, infinity pool, and breathtaking views of the surrounding islands." Harry's eyes widened as he took in the details, his mind racing with visions of sun-kissed beaches and crystal-clear waters. He couldn't wait to share it all with Hermione and Pansy. As he turned to leave, the goblin called out to him. "Mr. Potter?" Harry turned back, a questioning expression on his face. The goblin smiled, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "I almost forgot. The previous owner of the property, a wealthy wizard by the name of Mr. Santos, left a message for you." He produced a small, folded piece of parchment from his pocket, which he handed to Harry. Harry took the parchment, unfolding it to reveal a message scrawled in elegant, cursive script. "Dear Harry," the message read, "I hope you and your loved ones will enjoy Tahimik Cove as much as I have. Please, take care of the property, and of each other. The Philippines has a way of healing the soul. I think you'll find it does wonders for yours." Harry smiled, feeling a sense of gratitude towards the mysterious Mr. Santos. He tucked the parchment into his pocket, the golden key and deed safe in his possession. With a sense of excitement and anticipation, Harry made his way back to the carriage, ready to share the news with Hermione and Pansy. As he settled into the plush seats, he couldn't help but feel a sense of hope and possibility. A new life, a new beginning, and a chance to leave the past behind. The thought sent a shiver of excitement down his spine, and he couldn't wait to see what the future held.
