**Chapter 1: A Night to Remember**

Part 1

The music was pulsating, and the lights were flashing at the party that was being held in an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of town. The warehouse was decorated with neon signs and balloons, and the air was thick with the smell of smoke and sweat. Regulus, 15, was dancing with a group of friends, his eyes gleaming with excitement as he spun and twirled to the beat. He was being his usual flirtatious self, laughing and joking with the girls around him, and occasionally, grinding up against them. As the night wore on, Regulus' behavior became more and more reckless. He was being overly friendly with a girl that he had just met, and it was clear that he was looking for a good time. His friends were all cheering him on, but one person was not amused - his older brother, Sirius, 17. Sirius was standing across the room, watching Regulus with a mixture of concern and annoyance. He had always looked out for his younger brother, and he didn't like seeing him act so irresponsibly. He didn't like the way Regulus was flirting with that girl, and he definitely didn't like the way she was responding to him. Sirius knew that Regulus was still young and didn't think about the consequences of his actions, but he couldn't just stand there and do nothing. As the music reached a crescendo, Sirius pushed his way through the crowd and made his way over to Regulus. "That's enough," he said, grabbing Regulus' arm and pulling him away from the girl. Regulus looked up at him, a mixture of surprise and defiance in his eyes. "Come on, Sirius, I'm just having fun," Regulus said, trying to wriggle free. Sirius didn't respond, he just pulled Regulus out of the warehouse and into the cool night air. They walked in silence for a few minutes, until they reached the dorm building where Sirius and his best friend, James, 17, lived. Sirius pushed open the door and strode inside, Regulus struggling to keep up with him. James was sitting on the couch, reading a book, and he looked up as they entered. "Hey, what's going on?" James asked, his eyes narrowing as he took in Regulus' disheveled appearance. Sirius just grunted, and then picked Regulus up, carrying him over to the couch. Regulus let out a startled yelp as he was deposited onto James' lap. James looked up, startled, as Regulus landed on him. "Whoa, easy there," he said, laughing. Regulus looked up at Sirius, his eyes flashing with anger. "What the...?" he started to say, but Sirius just cut him off. "You need to calm down and think about your actions," Sirius said, his voice firm. "You're not going to be acting like that again, at least not while you're under my roof." Regulus looked at James, who was smiling at him, and then back at Sirius. He knew he was in trouble, but he wasn't sure what was going to happen next.
