**Chapter 14: Baby Names**
Part 14
As they sat on the couch, surrounded by baby books, parenting magazines, and a laptop open to a baby name generator, Jess and Pedro couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. Their prenatal appointments were going smoothly, and they were finally starting to feel like they were getting close to meeting their babies. Jess's belly was growing bigger by the day, and Pedro couldn't help but marvel at the way her curves had changed. He loved running his hands over her stomach, feeling the tiny kicks and movements of their babies. They had been attending parenting classes, and Pedro had even started to learn how to change diapers and soothe a crying baby. But despite all the preparation, there was one important decision they still hadn't made: what to name their babies. Jess had always been fascinated by names, and she had spent hours poring over baby name books, making lists and cross-referencing meanings. Pedro, on the other hand, was a bit more laid-back, but he was eager to find the perfect names for their little ones. "Okay, so we've got a list of names that we like," Jess said, scrolling through her phone. "But we need to narrow it down. We can't just have a bunch of options and no clear decision." Pedro nodded, his dark hair messy from a day of playing guitar. "I know. I've been thinking about it, and I really like the name Kingsley for one of the boys." Jess's eyes lit up. "I like that too! But what about the second boy? We need to find a name that goes well with Kingsley." Pedro thought for a moment, his brown eyes narrowing as he concentrated. "How about Leyland?" he suggested. Jess smiled, her face lighting up with excitement. "I love it! The initials are perfect - K and L. And they sound so cute together." Pedro grinned, relieved that they were on the same page. "I'm glad you like it. I was thinking we could use them as a pair, like two peas in a pod." Jess nodded, her mind racing with the possibilities. "I think that's a great idea. What do you think about middle names?" she asked, her eyes sparkling with curiosity. Pedro shrugged. "I'm open to suggestions. What did you have in mind?" Jess thought for a moment, her brow furrowed in concentration. "Well, I was thinking maybe we could use family names. My grandfather's name was Alexander, and your mother's name is Sophia. We could use those as middle names." Pedro's face lit up with a smile. "I love that idea. Kingsley Alexander and Leyland Sophia - it sounds perfect." As they continued to discuss baby names, their conversation flowed easily, like a harmonious melody. They were in sync, their hearts beating as one, and their love for each other and their babies shone through in every word. Finally, after what felt like hours of deliberation, they had made their decision. Kingsley Alexander and Leyland Sophia were going to be the names of their twin boys. They hugged each other tightly, both of them feeling a sense of joy and excitement that they had never felt before. As they sat on the couch, holding hands and looking at each other, Pedro turned to Jess and said, "You know, I think this is just the beginning of our journey together. We've got so much to look forward to, and I'm grateful to have you by my side." Jess smiled, her eyes shining with love. "I'm grateful too, Pedro. I love you." Pedro's face lit up with a smile. "I love you too, Jess. And soon, we'll have two little ones to love and cherish." Their love was growing, and soon it would be multiplied by four. They were ready to embark on this new chapter in their lives, together and in harmony.
